Hello friends, it's been a busy first day leading the streets.  I was sent a number of anonymous telegrams, some with jovials threats of extreme violence, others with suggestions for what I do next.  One suggested I do a daily update, so this is it.

 

 

This is a man who is a shining example to all of us.  Historically, his lineage had some frustrations with mine, due to a wicked descendent of mine carrying out an enthusiastic and astonishingly successful campaign of assassinations against a rival city.  Mr Skull worked for the late Acting-Godfather-Chairman Illuminiated, and was responsible for clearing up after the 14 or more fatalities inflicted on that city.  A grim time for all concerned, including my ancestor, who abused, and not for the first time, the good nature of the peace-loving Detroit Mafia Masketball crews, using their city as cover for his deadly raids.  Thank God such bloodshed is behind us and that we are now living in a quiet, peaceful period of time.

 

 

Isn't it a good omen that we have to look to the past to find the most recent fatality linked to talking on the Street?  Now, I happen to know this guy's bloodline, and he's a garbage human being, and I'm glad he's dead.  But we must endeavour to do better.  So, I'm going to offer up to his son the sum total of all the tips given to me for this daily update.  It's a testimonial.

 

 

In other news, some guy is talking about himself (again) and has named himself "Madness" - original.

 

We had a sort-of-decent competition entry, the sole one so far.  Thus far nobody has registered as a non-entrant.  It's impossible to know if that means a lot have, or none has.  It's a mystery.

 

Thanks once again to OliverQueen, who hasn't yet turned down my offer to judge the writing competition: he must want to, and who better to judge?  This stalwart veteran of the Competitive Writing Competition Wars, and rocksteady visitor of his ancestral premises.  Hats off.
