HollywoodUndead wanders the streets of Philadelphia, his hometown. He looks at all the sights as he walks around. As he passes a near by 7/11 he notices a young Mafioso is holding the cashier up. He smiles to himself because the flourishment of young Mafiosi in our world makes him happy. He continues down the street and finally gets to the corner where all the Mafiosi seem to meet. He steps up on to the curb and coughs horrifically , but he pulls it off like he did it to get everyone's attention. Is it really that bad? We here many complaints about the rule of CP, but the thing is, it's not really that bad. They know what they are doing, and yes they may do some things that not everyone likes, but as a friend of my grandfathers said, if you want to be liked don't become a crew leader. "They are only authing themselves," is one of the complaints that I used to here on a regular basis. Yes, I admit, when they first took control it did seem that way, but if you look at it now there are only two CPs in a position of power. Two out of six Family Heads are CP, the rest are not, but guess who auth'd them...CP. HollywoodUndead lights up a cigarette, and continues on with his speech. "They auth people then go out and kill them," is another statement heard a lot about the CP. If you notice, they always have a logical explanation. Some people are pissed off about the take out of Alfonzo and his family, but if you think about it, they gave a lot of chances. If you heard Numbers' speech after the fact, you will notice Alfonzo was given a lot of chances because they held off on the take out after a few mistakes were made. I know I am missing some CP complaints, so feel free to add some if you have some, and I will most likely be able to give you a reason that it's not as bad as everyone makes it seem. After making his random rant Hollywood starts to walk back towards his flat where his puppy is waiting to be fed. |

Simple wanders out of the seven-eleven, counted his cash that he just "withdrew" from the cashier. He sees a crowd gathered, all in awe of one man standing on a curb. He overhears the conversation and merely shakes his head Holly; can I call you Holly? Holly, I love ya, but this is but the seed of a large tree. I know that you, and many of you standing here this evening know that it is not that we dislike CP. But more-so, it is that we dislike those in power. Period. Dig deep into your family journals and you will rediscover that anyone in great power is disliked. I dare not throw out names for my own safety, but we've all either loved or hated those in great power. And come on, those of us that loved them, were just sucking up. Simple sees a man in the crowd giggle, then look around at the eyes staring at him, as if to say, "what an idiot". But, to throw out an opinion that is related to Holly's topic: CP are running things. And I am happy to use that old saying, "If you dislike it, do something about it." Personally I don't see many problems. Though this is one of my first times out from the rock in which I live under. |

| I have to agree with Simple. There is always a dispute with those in charge, it will never change. When those in power now fall, later when others are in control some of those will be saying the same thing. It's really a vicious cycle, but one in tradition. | |

"Holly" chuckles loudly at his good buddy Simple. Holly? Sure why not. I've been called worse things. Holly shakes Simples hand and looks him in the eye. Yes I know the whole disliking those in power thing, but we aren't talking about the past. We are talking about the present. People complain like the CP rule is the worst rule in our history. It's not as bad as people make it seem. Unless someone can come up with something big to take out everyone in CP, then they're gonna rule for a little while, so you might as well get used to it. There have been attempts but they only take out one or two at a time. After the rogue dies it gives the murdered's sons time to rank back to the position their father was, so it seems like the rogue attempt does nothing. So I've learned to deal with it, and as soon as I stopped looking at it so negatively is when I noticed that their rule is fine, it's not the worse thing that can happen. |

And Apathy, I have to agree with you. It would be horrible if you and Shuki ruled the world. I would have to kill myself. Hollywood cackles loudly and shakes his old friend Apathy's hand. |

Scratches his head and looks around. We're still going on about the CP? I thought that would die down a little seeing as how we have no thugs wasting minutes of my life in the streets speaking of ignorant ideas. Ideas that have already been tried and failed. Maybe I'm just dillusional but I wonder what would happen if.... no more mafiosi came to the streets about the CP and we ignored the little thugs that whine and bitch constantly whom have never gotten past goomba amongst us. Just a thought though. Lights up a cigarette realizing this matter has lost all of his attention he goes to a 7-11 and knocks that over, but for the cigarettes... the cigarettes I tell you! |

I don't think Holly is complaining about the CP rule at all. I mean, feel free and correct me at any time, but I think he is merely pointing out that we shouldn't complain. The way I understood his speech was to say that we are here in the now, so let's live it and stop concerning our lives with the obstructions that do not concern us. I don't believe he was saying he'd be any better. God, it'd be worse than if Shuki ran the world. Simple shutters at the thought, then goes back to listening to the crowd, attempting to get that image out of his head |

To be honest I don't ever think things were as bad as some made out I just think the people complaining were making more noise than the people who were happy with the way things were and are going. its all been said before but if you take away the CP aspect not one of the leaders has done anything that leaders in the past havent done plenty of times and not had half the complaints crying and bitching that has been seen in the last few months. the points in question back up this point perfectly as for only authing themselves what in the past time and time again leaders have leaders not authed people who they can call friends, but take away the CP aspect have these people not proved in the past they are experienced at running a family and I dont remember seeing an abundance of people who were ready to step up and take on such a responsibility and I personally dont want to be working under someone that doesn't have a clue what he has got himself into or what he is doing. as for letting people set up and then killing them this is a stupid argument and also joins in with the first point, if someone has there own family they should be making the most of the opportunity if they are not up to the job and keep making mistakes-even after being helped along the way in some cases-then action needs to be taken. so in summary things are not that bad I dont think they ever were, people just love to complain about things when the chance arises. |

Walking down the dark street Maddog notices what appears to be a heated debate over our current living situation He asks himself "Do I add my two cents?" He positions himself towards the center of the crowd "To answer your question Hollywood, on whether or not things are that bad......" "No." "No there not." He begins to leave the crowd as he feels he made his point. But he sharply turns back around to re-address the crowd to further his answer. "If it is that bad now, then has it not always been that bad? I implore anyone here to come out here and tell me....no tell all of us of the harmonious times you speak of. Many of us have had many generations live and die right here in the streets. For myself I do not recall in any of my families past journals entries reading, Today was a day like all the others, all of the families from all of the cities came together held hands and sang songs. Why didn't the journals say that, you ask? Because it didn't happen then nor does it happen today. We have a ruling class....So what! It is better than chaos! Things have been worse, by far. We cannot all lead, we cannot all have our own families. No one came up to any of you and said join my family or your dead, support CP or your dead. In fact I would imagine it would be the opposite. Now maybe you father and your father's father had a better way of life, maybe he didn't. But you all of you have a choice. Live your lives to the best of your abilities, or don't and continue to complain and bitch about whats fair and whats not, and wonder why you never get anywhere in life. Wait, no your right, it is CP's fault that you never get ahead..........right! You may not like this system in place, so maybe you should put more effort into working the system in place rather than bashing it so you.....yes all of you would be in a position that you could be the ones making changes and calling the shots. This is a life of crime we have chosen for god sake act like it." Done with his rant Maddog, places his hat on his head and tips it towards a few of his associates in the crowd, and heads off into the night. |
