Recently, we've seen the open invitation for the keys to Las Vegas. Many of you are likely tempted by such an offer. Playing in a blood sport that could secure yourself such glory and honors, who wouldn't want to inheirt a great and worthy post by such means. I admit, I was tempted by the prospect, but then I think to myself of my own place, my own ideals. Why throw those away just to bleed in some sandy ditch. Anyways, I've come to reflect on something I was told yesterday and in some part, it's related to my own temptation and experience today. I asked this man, this older gentlemen, whom I look up too... what makes or breaks a great leader? And he sat their for a moment, and then came up with this. "A great leader is someone who is able to compromise when the tables turn, yet he doesn't compromise his beliefs. He doesnt betray his ideals." I've always treasured the notion to be remembered, years for now... when we ashes blown about the win. Perhaps they'll say, Sal and Ezylee made some beautiful children. Perhaps they'll comment on my piano playing ability, or perhaps none of those. Good and bad, but I want to be remembered for my loyalty, for my honor and integrity. If glory should come my way. Thank the heavens, but I shall not trade glory and riches for my integrity. And, I come to your brothers of the gun and knife, think of Our Thing and what you have built your life on, the ideals you have sworn yourself on, the oath of the blood stained and burning saint. While fortune does favor the bold, do not trade your ideals for glory and riches. The real treasure is within the heart, knowing you have done right, you have lived and died by the gun and knife, your last words... Viva La Famiglia. Omerta. Onore. Sangue. Famiglia. |

That was very well spoken. I feel inspired to do great things now. 1nf1n1ty giggles Excuse me sir. Though I don't mean to be disrespectful but I heard you mention something about children with Eyzlee. Beautiful they might of been, existent they can not be. I've dedicated my life to two things. Being the worlds biggest CP fan and if there is time seducing Eyzlee. On a more relative note, what is you say is partially true. I have only one thing to ask of you. Can't a person still be loyal to ones family even though they are the head of said family? You make it seem as if you will lose all honor by becoming a family leader. I'd like to think the differ. To me becoming a family head is one of the most honorable things you can do. Dedicating your time and efforts into making everyone within your family happy and safe seems very honorable to me. I'd like to think that leaving ones family and starting their own is only an extension from that family. You are heading your own family but that doesn't mean you aren't honorable or loyal, that just means you are making even more money and earning even more respect for your family.
