Was it a Mistake to Kill LilPeep?

First of all, he was a crew-leader from somewhere.  Those that killed said they did it because of his lack of style.  Others have alleged it was because he took part in purging.  Still others believed that he himself was purged by his own people.

Firstly, it should not be thought that there was any malice or ill-will towards IilPeep.  I doubt his murderers genuinely disliked him.  They almost certainly didn't know him.  I mean, how many people really did?  I think it's safe to say that LilPeep's killers felt as much animus towards LilPeep as Peep's son Luis feels towards those killers.

Now, we have to ask ourselves.  Did Hugo and all of his support kill LilPeep so that they could laugh to themselves about it?  Was it some kind of strange macabre joke?  I don't think so.  Yes, some of the killers took to the streets in an unkind and mocking way, and yes, I have heard, that no small hilarity did take place.  But all that work, all that training, just to make a small group of people laugh?  Is that likely?

I think that we should look elsewhere for a rationale.  MrSki had purged everyone in his family EXCEPT for Hugo, and his support unit, Regrets.  Regrets, it could noted, joined his life of crime within minutes of the late Kuku attempting to murder some sponsored Goombas.

Some other things should be noted.  Yes, LilPeep being killed was extremely amusing.  No, this is probably not the sole reason it was done.

Yes, there was an attempted assassination of an allied pro-wacker.  But this time, luck and fate was on the side of the allied pro-wacker.  We bucked the trend.

Larry WackBack'd in a truly astounding way.  He is to marksmanship what he is to street-speaking, and displaying back-bone about seeing his lineage purged for simply not fitting in. 

We note that OliverQueen was not murdered, despite there being ample reason for this to take place.

So, what are we left with?  We are multiple men down (and at least one woman).  

Was it all worth it?
