Frank steps to the soapbox with something on his mind

Today was a day i hoped for for a long time to reach one of the highest honors the rank of don and i finally did with my much hard and simply the support of my Crew Leader Civ the support of friends and greatest of all the city of New Orleans

Now without these people i would never have made it to Don

First off Civ ,

Everyday when i come on work hard and do something you always notice and send me a message and let me know i did something great or whenever i need something your always there to talk to without this i wouldn't enjoy being here you make it great and very fun to be here your a great crew leader and keep on doing what your doing. man simply amazing

Secondly New Orleans

I would like to thank this city for being simply amazing the environment here and people in this city are nothing but friendly and make it easy to get business going and meet new people to everyone in New Orleans its been a pleasure working with you and i look forward to continuing on the path of a great future

Lastly Stamina

What can i say this man is probably the busiest man in the city and also one of the friendliest he makes this city great and makes it one of the best to work in always there to talk to and give encouragement. So Stamina i thank you for granting me this honor of don its the crowning achievement in my life in this thing of ours and words cant describe how happy and deeply great i am for this

Again i thank everyone who has been there for me Especially and forever Grateful to Civ Stamina and the city of New Orleans

I'm sorry to interrupt you and all and i'm a let you finish but Beyonce was the best Don of all time. OF ALL TIME.

Congo Rats Frank, very hard achievement getting to the rank of Don, not that the work is hard as anyone can do it, but having the trust of your CL to see you gain that rank is something to be proud of!

Also speaks very good of your family for you too come out and speak so openly about their help with your accomplishment!

Those without a sense of humour are destined to live life in sadness.

Sense of humour is one thing, a joke is a joke and should be seen as such but too "joke" during a speech and not have the courtesy or good sense to congratulate is offensive, at least from my point of view. Although some of us could careless about respect in this thing of ours...

Any further comments can be sent to my mail as I refuse to degrade this mans accomplishments with this debate.

Respect is something that is shown to those that I know, work for and with. I don't know this fellow and nor do I work for or with him. That's not to say he doesn't deserve it, how am I supposed to know what he's accomplished with and for his city? I don't. That said, I wouldn't expect you to show me any respect either for the same reasons.

However, I do happen to agree with you. This is nor the time and place for such a debate.

Frank--Vitti_jr, you have shown so much promise since you stepped foot in New Orleans all those months ago. Working hard each and every day has ensured you have progressed within our city. Involved in many things over at The Pontchartrain Lakeshore Resort, you're a valuable asset to both The_Civilian and also the city.

Congratulations on your promotion, you've more than earned it. I know many others in the city appreciate the fine work you carry out for us. Let us see plenty more of the same from you as you wear your new stripes with pride!

Every Crew Leader wants a member to show respect and gratitude. Like Don Frank--Vitti_jr here, comming out here beeing proud... saying good things about his family and the city he works for. Don Frank--Vitti_jr, i have done nothing for you... eveything that you have accomplished was the prize of you very own actions. Sending a small letter to Godfather Stamina was the least i could do here. If it was'nt for your accomplishements i would've never done it. Not for a million years... but... with that beeing said, i would never stand in front of a hard working man's career! Salut Don Frank--Vitti_jr... salut!"

After wrapping up some business, Rathbone decides to take in the sites of Bourbon Street. After strolling for a few blocks, he hears a familiar voice speaking on streetcorner. He listens to the speech and the congratulations of some other well-wishers, then begins to clap.

Well done, Frank. I don't know you half as well as others, but in the few short conversations you and I have had, you've certainly demonstrated that you are a very deserving mafioso of such a rank. I wish you the best of luck in the future, as well. Congrats!

"Congratulations, my dear. We've spoke quite a few times and you are always such a kind and hard working fellow."

Clarity happily shook the man's hand as she congratulated him. She gave him a bright smile before clapping along with others around her.

"You are very deserving of this honor and I'm happy to see such a great man being allowed to flourish in New Orleans."

She nodded and patted him on the shoulder before heading off. She had business to attend to and drinks to be had!

Franky just snatched a purse block away from the speech location, when he turned the corner he almost bumbed into the Don speaching.. He carefully listens to the words the Don speaks as he looks up in admiration as he applauds, then from the corner of his eye he sees the old lady approaching and makes a run for it again.

Has the band wagon started?

This is the streets. I can come and go from here as I do so please. Regardless of who's speech it is or whatever, doesn't matter. I would say the same to everyone else who got Don and made this sort of speech. Knowing that 90% of them could take the joke and laugh it off. However I must admit I didn't factor in the possibility of people automatically jumping on the 'disrespect band wagon'.

If it makes the whiners happy then I will personally apologise to Frank if he so wishes and he thinks I have shown him un-intentional disrespect. Actually, no, I couldn't give a flying toss about the whiners but the offer to Frank still stands. However, I think Frank actually does have a sense of humour.

That being said, to each his own. I am sure Frank is very well respected and liked in his family. I honestly believe he has worked hard and proven himself otherwise he would not be recently promoted once again. Just my humble opinion but Promotions are a special thing, to be shared with family and close friends perhaps in celebration at your local pub/front etc. When you come to the streets especially yourself and hand out flyers etc. you bring upon yourself and open the door for those trying to bring a little levity and fun whether you agree with there comments or no. It is after all a public forum.

I for one am happy to see someone so happy to have achieved the rank of Don from with in New Orleans city walls that they come out to celebrate it with everyone. Is it traditional no.. But it shows the eagerness and how proud that those are with in the city of New Orleans.

I know I have already to you Frank that I was proud of you but congrats again. I know that God Father Stamina is also very proud of you and knows how well you work or else you wouldn't have been given this rank.
