US politics has become so divisive, exacerbated by the echo chambers of a broadcast media which doesn't need to be fair, balanced, or even accurate and social media algorithms resulting in hearing only one side (and increasingly extreme versions) of any argument, resulting in the mechanisms for keeping the nutters out having failed. I guess that the people of the US have had fair warning and, if they still vote for Trump, they cannot say that they did not know what was coming. |

| I really feel the US is more divided than ever. Trump supports putting down non trump supports, people scared by the media and propaganda scared of trump. Disney black washing white characters, a lot of shows getting more liberal to push a woke agenda. I mean honestly when is the civil war going to happen?? The unfortunate thing for democrats is that they always try to take the high road but republicans don't care and grasp for any power or advantage. Biden needs to realize that it will be relentless attacks until the election and his candidacy is just not viable. |

I’m voting for Trump over Biden but I just wish they would run RFK at this point and make Biden drop out. At this point the only person who has a chance of beating Trump is RFK. |

Seems to me that Biden was losing ability, but wasn't a threat to the structures that have made America the most powerful nation history has ever known.
What is baffling to those of us who aren't from the USA, but have a deep affection for it, is why it's worth gambling so much on a man who is intent on wrecking centuries of systems, checks and balances that have created such wealth and power. Trump's base will not benefit from his winning another term.
It seems, as with Brexit, people are voting based on impulses more usually used for people with an affinity for a particular tribal sports team.
The Dem's upper structure seem incapable of reading the room. |

As a foreigner, all i will say, is the more i see Biden v Trump the last few years, the more attractive Mexico looks in comparison. |
