EmperorSao was seen slithering out of the Pond Scum HQ. Do octopi slither? The world may never know. A cleanup crew could be seen entering the premises, all trustworthy men and women who were there to begin the move from Corktown to Bricktown. A demolition crew was scheduled for later in the day, but that's not what was on Sao's mind. He had just left LongLeggedLarry 's office not long ago, and things were moving rather quickly. He needed to make his announcement while he still had the time.

Sao slithered further down the street to his favorite street corner. An extra tall soap box was always there. It had to be tall because octopi are rather short. Short but fiery, they always say. Well, maybe not in general, but Sao was described that way at least twice. Using his tentacles, he climbed his way to the top and looked out over the crowd that always began forming when he made an appearance. He looked out over his adoring fans, and began to speak.

"It's good to see you all, as usual. I'm here for a very important reason. With all the havoc that has been wreaked on our community lately, there is a call for more people to step up and lead us through these bloody times, especially here in Detroit. With all that said...the scum is spreading. With LongLeggedLarry moving to Bricktown, it is up to me to lead operations here in Corktown. Without further ado, I am proud to announce the creation of Sea Scum!"

Sao climbed down from the soapbox after spotting Spike in the crowd holding a bag of shrimps. He began to move toward the shrimp, for it was dinner time, and he was famished.
