really good, the 2 pts he's going to put up in 17 minutes off the bench every night will be really useful, congrats to them

I stopped following basketball long time ago, but after this whole marketing push with LBJ and his son, LBJ... The first game was not the best from what I heard, but for sure wont be good, I don't think he is proper NBA material, for sure marketing move and I understand as it is business but damn

Seeing the lakers pick him up AFTER he obviously missed the draft, because he’s nowhere in comparison to his father and sucks ass on the court, is hilarious. Lebron got what he wanted though, now he gets to see his son play. And this dude still won’t retire, ugh.

Shitless,he would never play in NBA if there was not his father
Its like your dad owns a company and he set you as director, and then you talk how good you were and that you get place because you deserve it

I think that LB’s son will be the source of plenty of hilarious memes and clips this year. It’s a clear example of nepotism, and someone only getting to where they are because of their parent and not on their own merits. But just because he wasn’t great when he got in the league doesn’t mean he won’t become a reliable role player if he can find his niche on the court.

Every single team has, at one time or another, drafted someone simply for entertainment value or to "put asses in seats" as they like to say. The Browns did it a few years ago when they drafted Johnny Manziel. Every NFL analyst knew he wasn't going to amount to anything at the NFL level, but he had a lot of media attention in his last year in college and won the Heisman, so the Browns figured he would sell tickets.  Stupid Browns.

So that's where the Lakers are at. It's a media gimmick to boost sales of merchandise and tickets. The only difference here is that it's so much more obviously that it's a contract based on entertainment value and not skill or talent.

That being said, it's the hardest workers that succeed in anything. Let's see if the kid can outwork his dad.

Bronny won’t play for the Lakers. He’ll be stuck in G-League forever. If it wasn’t for LBJ he wouldn’t have even been drafted.
