Alongside the current protection order for the members of Creep's crew, we would like to extend this to the members of the late XL's crew. Hopefully we can have a list of names soon, but for now I ask that every member tagged with his crew be given the full 7 days to find shelter. Thank you.

These 'protection orders' are frankly pointless, if you ask me. XL has been in the ground less than a day. No doubt the Godfather Council will be more clued up than us mere mortals, but the general rank and file at the moment aren't even aware of who the de facto leader of Vegas is, so the majority of people aren't necessarily going to take the word of some Capo.

Even if they don't take your word for it though, it's already pretty well documented that the Godfather Council have stated that a 7 day protection order for tagged members is standard practice.

Previous to Creep's death, though I've heard no information on it since, there was no leader. I would imagine there still isn't one. Last I knew they weren't going to proclaim a leader as it'd cause tension etc etc.

Sprozz, whilst there is no actual requirement to announce such things to those that were around at the time of the Godfathers announcement, sadly not everyone tends to read old news in their spare time and so many are unaware of the fact such stipulations are common place.

I don't see any harm in someone announcing a protection order, no-one asked you to stop and listen to what Cassi had to say. In fact, I think she made it very clear what she was announcing and yet you stopped anyway simply to point out the fact she was making a pointless announcement. Its really just made you seem rather petty, couldn't you have just approaching Cassi in the Coffee shop, or asked your local post office employee to drop off a written message to her? Or would that no have had the same effect you were hoping for?

This announcement is to help prevent death, why anyone feels the need to make a big deal of the fact it wasn't required is i'll never know.

And to answer a question made within - Las Vegas currently has 3 Leaders, we don't feel the need to have someone be the face of Vegas, we are quite capable of working together and building the City between us, so no, there isn't a Head of the City as such.

Whether or not Cassiopeia is the leader of Vegas shouldn't matter. She comes here to these streets as a 'Representative' of Las Vegas, and her word shouldn't be taken lightly. It should be respected by the higher ups in other cities, as she clearly comes here as a voice out of Vegas.

Some people will look for any reason to discredit LV, which is why it basically makes it a necessity to put out a protection order any time a leader from the city falls.

I understand how people feel a need to protect younger men and women on the streets that just became homeless and crewless by war. But you have to ask yourselves, do people who kill blindly for a boss or bosses deserve protection? People who deliberately shot under command and killed innocents? I’m not too sure. This is a heated topic.

Now I’m not exactly certain about what happened between Creep and others in LV, so I guess this is a general question. But do the crew members, especially those of the hit squads, who killed for a boss who started a war unannounced and maybe unprovoked deserve protection?

If a boss decides he doesn’t like another boss and a war starts his men fire first and to me that’s as guilty as the boss. Does anyone else feel this way?

If it's an intercity war, the city has the right to decide whether to spare or slaughter the unsponsoreds. Also, Creeps family was not involved in a war with the surviving members of LV, so that's irrelevant.
