It wasn't long before Uncle Joe had firmly entrenched the Ligambi crime family in his new territory. Uncle Joe had set up shop in the Downtown area amongst all the hustle and bustle of the city. Joe's street boss Kenny Russo chose a quieter area of the city and set up in Pasadena. Uncle Joe knew he had to tighten his grip on the city further though and would look to one of his younger more hip members to do so. The first one that came to mind was Carlo Dinunzio.

Carlo was relatively young and more in touch with the youth of the city compared to Ligambi and Russo. It was that reason that he would set Carlo up in Hollywood. It was the perfect area for a young and charismatic go getter. He would surely do a great job expanding the family's criminal activities amongst all the glitz and glamor that Hollywood had to offer.
