Marie_Lucania stood on the second story of her Bricktown HQ that overlooked the Detroit River.  It was a magnificent evening with an unseasonal cool breeze coming from the north.  It picked up the strands of black hair that was worn long and loose about her shoulders and played with them as a lover might during a moment of intimacy.  Closing her eyes she could almost feel the soft caress upon her jaw.

With a deep sigh Marie smiled.  The young mobster had a lot upon her plate to deal with and tonight she was adding a great deal more to it.  Tonight she was sitting up as a Captain to the newly minted Godfather Chair  of Detroit -- LongLeggedLarry.  He needed to expand his operations here in Bricktown and had chosen her to head up the new expansion.     

She had a lot of long nights and days ahead of her for sure, but it would all be worth it.  Especially if she was successful in some of her more enterprising endeavors down in Cuba.  If she played her cards just right she would ensure a long and successful run for herself and the whole of Detroit.  Fortune favored the bold and Marie came from a long line of bold risk-takers
