bullfrogs are the largest frogs in North America, as well as the champion jumpers. Everyone has their own reason for joining the fight, so I'll save you the drivel of putting words in other people's mouth and I invite them to give their own version of their story and why 60+ individuals decided to vote with their lives (some twice! it's actually still happening right now, believe it or not.) I want to make it excruciatingly clear that this doesn't happen without all of these other people who contributed. People from families across the country, people from within my ranks, and people from within Sao's ranks. This is all about disdain for how things have gone on from a variety of people. This is only my perspective. For Larry? This wasn't a hospital fire, this wasn't a bus crash, this wasn't some fucking non-profit to benefit the purged of the world. This was pure and simple revenge. When Transistor returned to these shores(y) after a long break, he was scooped up with haste by what is referred to as "The Regime" to be made into a useful piece of this thing of theirs. From member to hand, hand to leader, leader to Godfather. He followed orders, he eliminated perceived threats, he gave away a small fortune of prizes on main street, he engaged with the community. The community was receptive, starved of this level of engagement by any other than the gods. Until he was deemed too loyal for their standards. Transistor pulls out a sheet of paper of a transcript of a previous speech about his grandfather's death
Poor Transistor was gutted. He did everything he was asked, he had gathered around him a fierce army of people loyal not only to him, but to those at the big kids table. He was encouraged to make his own decisions, to trust in the process, and that everyone had his back. If he were to die, they would die with him. He believed it, despite the warnings of many others around him, and even seeing his friends' crews be removed before his eyes. When it happened to him, he was angry for all the people he had led into the slaughtering house despite the clear signs pointing them all away. He began planning a simple rogue run with the help of a couple friends. Maybe he'd get one or two, feel good about himself and retire on a boat somewhere out at sea. Well I'll be, and wouldn't you know it- those same fierce loyalties and great friendships netted quite the counter attack 4 months later by not only those who were directly impacted by his removal, but friends of those people, and friends of those friends, and friends of those friends' friends. Despite what appeared to be an obviously frustrated frog, he was given hand position. None of these things were planned. It landed in our lap. I cannot take credit for any of those actions. Those in power gift wrapped this for us, we only took advantage of those opportunities instead of squandering them. It grew to sizeable proportions. It contained names that are near curse words with this regime, people they had been in search of for half a year or more, but this time under the protection of a real crew and ot just floating around in the abyss. The (too) friendly and (too) loyal long legged bullfrog continued his charity, lightheartedness and obedience throughout his run. He kept up appearances. He played along. When it came time to move, all the pieces fell into place. A small shop on Discord Avenue filled up with previous friendlies and foes alike, ready to make their own statement however large or small they could or would contribute. Despite the massive turnout, not a single leak emerged. An incredible testament to the deep seeded ire festering within much of our community for the way things have gone for far too long. I wish I was here to give a fun anecdote, but the truth is often quite a bit less stranger than fiction. People got mad and organized. They ranked up and did something about it. I don't want to reset the streets or be the head honcho. I have no interest in trying to find rogues in a sea of old family names- or auths for an empty district that I just removed two weeks after I installed them. I don't find joy in rifling through an old filing cabinet of family names to find the one that matches some 20 day old Goomba in some family half a country away. I wanted my cake and had no intention of eating it, too. I caused damage for revenge. Nothing more. This land is ripe for the taking, I suggest you do it before it's rebuilt into the same pock marked hell scape it was last week. Thank you to everyone who participated, those currently participating, and those who cheered on the sidelines. You're the true stars of the show. Long Live Pest, EmperorSao, and the others still giving it their all, T |

Quite the sympathetic tale of the unquestioning purge-happy leader who needed to be purged himself in order to align the bloodlines of the people he contributed to hunting and murdering indiscriminately for the great cause of "nothing more" than his own revenge

I think I will choose to remember that when most people lacked a spine and sacrificed their family for paranoia, that some people decided to give the middle finger to said paranoid group. Regardless of personal reasons for doing so or the outcome, they did do a lot of damage and created something other than boredom. So there is that. |

Larry will go down in history as a man of the people. Someone who stood up against a tyrannical regime. Your lot Joey, will go down as those who killed their own allies out of paranoia and fear. |

Here's what I'm gonna say and I'm only gonna say this once: Rest in Peace to everyone who has fallen. Rest in Peace to everyone who has fallen, I lied, I said it twice. That sort of bad boy allure is what I bring to every family that I'll ever join and everything that I'll ever do. I walk with the swagger of a man who could pass out at any moment, constantly nearly dropping to the floor, but I make it pop, baby. Where am I going with this, you ask? Where am I not going with it. I just wanted to let everyone who has fallen, friend or foe, enemy or friend, foe or person I dislike, everything and anything who has died. I will miss you, I will miss you and I will cry for you. So far I've cried for well over ten straight hours.
I'm still crying. I won't stop crying. Call me Jesus The Gangster or Ginger, cause I'm crying and then telling people I'm not crying. That's just how my mojo goes, baby. Anyways, thanks for speaking about your point of view on what happened: I appreciate it. I appreciate all of you.
As quickly as he had arrived, he's gone. |

He literally said in this speech that the only reason he did this was to get revenge over the months he spent entrenching this regime and doing their dirty work before they knocked him off as well. Larry wasn't a man of the people, he was a dumb chump who created a problem, faced it's consequences, and got mad about it. |

RonnieVanZant, he was just as much of a dopey runt as his father, despite his attempts here to take credit for uniting a faction of dissidents Transistor spent his life working to kill and create in order to fight a regime Transistor served as the biggest cheerleader of anyone for. As I recall, Transistor happily killed his own RHM because his masters told him to. Anything positive Larry has potentially achieved is a small shovelful of dirt lopped into the deep, deep hole of shame his bloodline dug for itself, and the only thing he's really managed to prove is how manipulable of a mark he is for the causes more calculating people reel him into; purge victim, punchline, patsy. If a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass a-hoppin'. |

The youngster sat against a nearby building, juggling a stone between his hands. The speech had him smiling. The responses had him laughing. He rises to his feet and tosses the stone up in the air, following it with his eyes as it spins and floats back down into his hand. He slips the stone and his hands into his pockets before approaching the gathering. "I have to be honest... My Father Warmonger warned me about this world." He pauses to smile as the attention turns to him. "You lot are a joke. You come out here and talk like you have any idea what happened and frankly it's embarrassing..." Albino scoffs. "I've read journal after journal full of complaints about this place going down the shitter and it's only got worse over the last year." The youthful Albino recalled SpiritualLeaderOfMR's words and rolled his eyes. "My family has been mostly absent from these shores since the betrayal of my Father in South Philly but even in the old country, I've managed to hear multiple lies about his history... Do you people just make this shit up or is there any evidence to support what's being churned out of the rumour mill?" He sighs. "Okay, where to begin?" He pulls the stone out from his pocket and begins flipping it between each hand. "Firstly, Godfather Transistor of South Philly certainly didn't happily kill his Right Hand Man." He shakes his head. "My Grandfather documented very well the final moments of Don Albino and Godfather Transistor. It was a melancholic moment. The two men knew what needed to be done. See this is what most of you fucking idiots don't seem to understand... If you're in this world, you don't get to be happy. Happy gets you in trouble. Godfather Transistor did what needed to be done. Don Albino however... He probably was happy. That bastard was a sick son of a bitch. I've no doubt in my mind he begged for that bullet." He pauses before continuing. "Trust me." "Oh and to be clear - Godfather Transistor didn't act on the orders of any masters. It was Don Albino who demanded he take that shot for the longevity of their district. My Grandfather was not well in the head. He got out of hand. He crossed a line. Guilt overcame him and there were rumours circulating that he had been caught for his sin. He was tired of hiding. In fact, he was tired of the entire thing. He'd worked himself stupid and sullied the good reputation of South Philly that Godfather Transistor had worked so hard to build. He couldn't continue. He'd heard word the regime were willing to forgive his sins and honestly, according to his accounts, he believed them. But he refused. He demanded to pay the price. He would expect anyone in the district to pay the price for such a sin, so why not him? He may have been sick and even stupid... But deep within him still existed a desire to do what was right." Albino tossed the stone in the air a few times, distracted in thought as the few memories of his Grandfather rattled around his head. "He forced his hand. Transistor refused to take the shot. He was too loyal, I'm sure you've heard... But Albino was a manipulative cunt. He made sure it happened." He sighs. "You have no idea on anything SpiritualLeaderOfMR. Transistor's line isn't the architect of this hellscape. What you're seeing is the result of the hellscape that has existed for the last year." He pauses to take a breath before continuing in a calmer tone. "Okay, I suppose you could say our ancestors in South Philly played their part. We should've turned around and removed the true architects and we didn't. We were hoping to bring life back to this place without bloodshed. The Trivia gatherings on Main Street... The unprecedented gift-giving... The donations to poker... The push for increased street activity..." Albino rolls his eyes. "Need I go on? There are innumerable efforts made by our ancestors to bring this place back into better days. Even the removal of Music's Detroit was an attempt to spark some life back into this thing of ours." "I feel obliged to add, too... While South Philly were certainly involved in Music's takedown, I've heard this regime attempt to claim it was all South Philly's doing and weighed into the decision of their removal. That is patently false - the war was run by DangerClose. Upon receiving news of our interest in the removal, DangerClose responded, quote, "Thank God, I'm bored!" In fact, my late father Warmonger left me documents with the Godfather's identity still attached - do get in touch if anyone would like proof showing exactly who ran the war which removed Music's Detroit. Don't get me wrong - my Father was a vote 'For' the move against Detroit, but I am sick of the lies these fucking idiots spew wherever they can get away with it. I digress." "In any case, Detroit had to go. That City was a fucking ghost town. The Chairman just another puppet put in position to stave off God's servant Crew Leaders. And why were God's servants an issue in the first place? Because previous Chairman Corky was gunned down while her Corktown 'equal' Music remained hidden away until it was safe to come out." He chuckles to himself. "A bit like Don DeadlySin, now of Bella Vista has done... Fucking cowards. He hid away during the entire war and now look at him... Got his Right Hand expecting everyone below them who actually put in the effort to fight back to bow before their power." "This place has gone down the toilet and you're all happy to just let it happen. None of you give a fuck about what really made this place great. You're all happy to suffocate every last drop of potential joy out of this place just to ensure select individuals cannot participate in any meaningful way." He shakes his head. "The worst part is, most of the bloodlines in this regime have been on these shores for decades and you couldn't give a shit about it's longevity. You're narrow-sighted. That's why you failed to accept that an entire city of people sought to see you suffer." He takes a deep breath and shakes his head. "Have you all heard the speech just down the road?" He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a notepad before reading from it.
"You clearly don't understand our win conditions. Our goal was never to seize control. Look at the fucking state of the place - you think we want to deal with all of this?" He shakes his head. "I expected more from your bloodline. I thought you had a brain between your ears." "We won. Whether you believe it to be true or not, we really couldn't give a shit." He returns to his notepad.
"Trust me, Larry was a man of the people. Maybe not a man of your people... But he was a man of the people. Look around, my friend... Us people did this." Albino winks before smugging. "Maybe you're just confused because Transistor didn't list them all out for you. Go back to DeadlySpike if you want spoon-feeding, we're all free-thinkers over here." "To be honest, I can't even be bothered continuing. My Father made sure to warn me off of this place and I think I'll heed his words. But it sure was fun to come back and shit on your lawn. Enjoy the clean up." Looking down at the notepad, he skims the last line.
He looks back up at those in attendance before bursting into laughter and rolling his eyes.
"Long live Larry the Legend." Albino chucks the notepad in the gutter and tosses the stone through a nearby window before wandering off into the sunset. |

I wanted to give a big speech like everyone else, really explaining my position and why I've done what I have done these past few months and I think that I am finally ready to really let it all out. All of these other beautiful wordsmiths all coming together to talk about what they've been going through and how it has changed them as people. I don't know, it, just, really is inspirational, and I think that I'm finally ready to open up about what my grandfathers and fathers have been up to and go real in-depth about it all. So, anyways, it started on a Tuesday, it was balmy outside and my great-great-great-great-you get it-Grandfather had to wear a hat just so that the sun wouldn't get in his eyes. As he walked down that street, he thought to himself how this was a huge undertaking and pondered if he was strong enough to do it. Once he reached his destination, it had been too late to turn back now and he slowly opened up the rustic-looking door to the parlor and took a seat at the bar. His hands were sweaty and he seemed a bit out of sorts, but his nerves calmed quickly as he shouted to the barkeep "One tonic, please." Wait, fuck. This is the story about how my great great great great you get it Grandfather lost his sobriety, sorry. I got my thoughts mixed up for a moment, but, hey, that was sad time for my family line, too.
So what are we talking about here? Ah, yes the mafia! The assortment of thieves and lollygaggers who are all out trying to make a name for themselves on these cold city streets. He taps on the cold city street to get his point across, before clearing his throat and jumping up from off the sidewalk. This was going to be a tough thing to speak about and he didn't want any spiders accidentally crawling across his body while he told the somber tale. Anyways, where were we? Ah, yes. So it was 1950 something and I had just gotten word that something big was about to happen, as I crested through that white light all I could do was cry, my body so wet with fluids and... wait a second, this is the story about how I was born. Fuck, everyone else was making this look so much easier, the really should have classes on this sort of thing. So this is about why I decided to aid Transistor with the war efforts, yeah? Why one of my family lineage took up arms to protect those that were attacking the established men and women of the mafia? Well, you know... I don't think that I remember that story, so how about I tell you all about the time I ate a whole bag of crackers? I got real fucking sick, but it was doozy of a story.
Well, thanks for listening to me. Means a lot. See you later.
He walks away. |

Hello yes this is HR, responding to your complaint about no lighter fluid... I checked with the finance department, we have some on order but we used the last of it we had burning down the BFN organization. It should be here around Monday of next week. As far as the staffing issues are concerned, the men that were in charge of overseeing the burning of Deadlysin's evidence were brutally gunned down by that BFN terror organization... Thankfully the monthly recruitment wave is coming, and it looks like the new recruits will be whipped into shape of being useful in just a short few weeks.
Thanks, Ravager - Head of HR |
