A Statement from the desk of DeadlySpike:

Dear Public: 

As stated by the aggressors, the purpose of their move was Revenge. For that reason, there has been much bloodshed in the last few days.

While we may disagree on our views of the events for which those certain people wanted revenge, it does not matter. Facts aren’t feelings. The simple fact is that recently they armed themselves with “curse words” (as was always shared as a concern openly, the concern of “split loyalties”) and they faked us out. This is not something to be upset about. We have shed no tears. Often in our world, it is better to keep things as black and white, oil and water. Pragmatism.

It should be said that trust is rare, and it's easier to pull a trigger to make the question marks disappear unfortunately. While we were very forgiving or made peace with many (and it has paid off in many instances), we did not need any of the people who attacked us that we had brought back into our circle. We could have walked away. Most of our motivation for bringing them back into our circle was the fact that we genuinely liked them. We thought they could learn a bit about what they had done wrong to get killed by us many months ago, and that maybe there was genuine understanding and/or forgiveness. Also, we considered them good friends, but in all honesty, from the start, there was a large element of well… pity. We felt bad for them, for several reasons. We tried to do the right thing. This was misguided along with our faith in them. It's a pity... 

I will accept this as my mistake, and I know others involved would too. We were weak. We should not have been so kind and/or generous with our kindness. We were buttered and served. This is why it is good to keep walking on the street when a sad sack is crying on the curb, head in hand, tears and pissed pants. Flatly, we were genuine and straightforward with them, and they were not, underhanded with a knife, from the start. We had nothing to hide about ourselves. Such is this life of ours, we all slit throats too, yo. Taste the blade, playa. I do not say this as a critique, just fact. We do gangsta shit, you do gansta shit. Bang bang hustla. Cold blooded killa, busta. Best not to demonize. These violent delights have violent ends… Blood brings blood. We all must face consequences someday, myself included.

The attempt at revenge was fair, but also vividly a falure. My critique is that… Perhaps by being less “emotional” or perhaps personal in the initial move, they would have won the war. Alas, that was not the case. Five wasted and seriously misplaced shots on a first wave. Being “emotional” is exactly what got one of these people’s father (and because of such many) killed by us before. I am not going to trash anyone personally like how they wanted to do to a dead godmother (one who should never have been killed in the first place), but I can say singularly that in itself was a slip… revealing of the true character behind the mask, reckless negative emotion, and potential or teetering rage. It is mainly what made his supporters realize he was a liability back then... too jumpy to balance on the lily pad. A second chance was a mistake, despite our good intentions.  

Acting “emotionally” causes mistakes, just as did our own “emotional” pity. I will also say, in terms of being improperly “emotional,” please don’t try to play a victim as the aggressor in the situation. There was a clear choice, a clear risk, and a clear consequence. It’s embarrassing. We are not victims. You are not victims. The only victims are those that are not involved, but unfortunately are in the crossfire.  

I hope the move was worth it to those that decided to finally reveal their true cursed family flag, and that they can find enjoyment in the results of such. You can’t have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat.

Not sure what the point of your message was. Is it to out your closest friends? A chance to write something bad about people because they had reasons to be fed up with some aspects of tie reign or events of the time? Hopefully you feel better now that you got it all off your chest.

Anyways, Rest in peace to the fallen of both sides.

I actually thought it was a pretty good speech all things considered. There isn't much here that I don't agree with.

I don't mind that you didn't approve of the first volley of shots and found it to be emotional. It was for you, intentionally emotional, and sealed with a kiss.
I don't mind that you felt pity for us. We banked on it.
I don't mind that you think you know where you have me. It was the entire point.
I don't mind that you consider our attack a failure. We don't.

We're so incredibly close on the facts, and so embarrassingly far apart on the feelings portion here that it wouldn't even be worth trying to get through the thick cardboard, but confident facade you put up each time you are one upped.

The amount of emotion displayed for flipping your own game on you and yours has us elated.

We don't care if we "won" by your win conditions, we won by our own conditions and it was incredibly satisfying.

Oh good but since there were two questions posed, which one was the accurate portion? It's always nice to be right I guess but better if you know what the exact thing that was right is.

I love how this whole thing has just devolved into random speeches that are receiving tips from everyone on their respective side.

So I'm wondering if I say something ambiguous that could go either way, will I get tips from both sides? Let me try it:

Your side won, you did what you set out to do and the other side took massive damage. You got what you wanted, and now you don't have to deal with them anymore. I am proud of you all for winning and doing what you set out to do. 

I can reassure you that I'll still find this hilarious one hundred days from now.

Mr_J- Could you tell me who those are quotes of, and the year they were said? I'm not quite familiar with them, and I think you might have just made them up. It sure would seem weird for us to be using your weird made up quotes as the standard though...

Two guys that haul enough ass to tear a hole in the space time continuum. Saw them, and they told me those quotes. One guy talked about his family a lot and the other one talked about shaking and baking. Didn’t get their names. But they seemed pretty wise.

As he finished going to the last few funerals StripheCorelli was out for a late night walk through the city. He walked by the park and smelled the fresh cut grass and he decided to take a seat in the park to soak up the night atomosphere and relax a bit as he had been on quite the long walk. He noticed a few people walking down the street and some homeless people sleeping around a small fire in a metal burn barrel near him. Walking over to the family he threw a few dollars and the directions to his fathers store so they could come and get some food and stuff to keep them above water. As he walked off he got a few more blocks down and he noticed a small group of people standing around a podium listening to a man speak. 

As he got closer he could see it was DeadlySpike making a speech to the people so of course he had to stand around and listen to his points, even when people did not agree and he heard a few boo's and yelling from the crowd. As he finished listening to the speech he decided to make a few comments before the crowd dispersed.

In this life we lead we have to make decisions that involve life and death, and those two topics are some of the most complicated there is. Hell you just simple cant always get everything right, and make everyone happy. 

I for one had a feeling this would all happen as nobody ever forgets anything and when you feel wronged you will do anything in your power to get revenge (hell I would want to do the same). I guess that's just part of our life and we must respect that while learning and growing at the same time. Getting everyone together, with no leaks is quite the accomplishment and things were rough there for a while - that cant be ignored.

A lot of those enemies I had considered friends but as usual things change time moves on and that is life.

We will rebuild, grow stronger and we will move forward but we will never forget
