So who exactly is ‘TheD?

My great, great, great, great (rrepeat to fade) Grandfather once told a take of man who walked, NAY, stalked these streets over 20 years ago.

He name was whispered behind hands and used to scare kids to bed (more about this later). Indeed he was said to be a utterly ruthless in his randomness and devastating in his Irn Bru consumption, a man to be reckoned with.

However, if one ever pronounced his name ‘TheD’ as rhymes with ‘red’ he would most likely establish a gerbil colony in your colon. No, for it is pronounced ‘The D’ like some really bad white rapper but hey, it’s his gig, let’s roll with it.

Rumour has it his family line invented toe jam and use toenail clippers as dental floss.  Truly a family line to be reckoned with.

But what is truth and what is fiction?

We need to know, because this, this………Myth, Legend, Anomoly and alpaca botherer walks amongst us!

I for one welcome this new traveler to our streets. I just have one question... Does he approve of nicknames? I'm not a big fan of calling someone "The D" as that can seem offensive to the normalized eye in today's society. What if we gave him a more friendlier nickname? How about "Big D" or even "Little D". I feel like those names are more family friendly, and will allow us to communicate without me appearing to be offensive in my responses.

Please respond Mr D. We need to hear your thoughts on this matter of upmost importance. Will you be "Big D", "Little D", or just "The D"

I believe it's pronouns are 'get tae fuck' and 'deep fried mars bar' so you can make of that what you will.

He remains a paradox inside an enigma.

It's a name unfortunately inherited from simpler times, when it didn't carry the connotations it does today.

Go back far enough in the lineage and I'm sure Big D would have been more appropriate, but today? Me? I'm nothing, a nobody. Little D would be fitting.
