UNITY Writing Competition

It's been just over a week since RonnieVanZant was shot dead, and his culprit still walks this earth.  His identity is widely known, but he remains alive.

I, for one, am happy about this.  RVZ was a leader, and he did things his own way.  Shortly before his death, Skorp picked his pocket.  RVZ, prankster that he was, then mugged Skorp and shot and wounded his bodyguard!  These would be the last things he did alive, as he was shot and killed within seconds.  

Anyway, nothing brings the people together better than a good old-fashioned writing competition, and I'm sure that this one will not be an exception!  So, I'm going to pony up $20m prize money, and I'm asking all leading and guiding lights of this of ours to donate to the prize pool.

LET'S MAKE THIS HUGE!

Let's have creative writing pieces, of no more than 200 words.  It's to take the form of a theory as to why RonnieVanZant was killed!  It can be as ridiculous or as realistic as you like.

So, let's hear it!  Get your entries in now!  $100k to all entries who use the term "son" at least twice in it.

I need to clarify what prizes are on offer for non entrants son? Do not, I repeat do not, consider this an entry son.  

Mr_J-, if I were a judge I would say you have almost no chance of winning with that entry. It was low-effort, boring and snarky, and I think as an RHM you should take more pride in your public endeavors because the work you put into the world is a reflection on not only yourself but your crew and crewleader as well.

TheBlob though I approve of you admonishing an RHM who does not know how to competitively write and treats the whole thing like a joke, I do not approve of the fact that your own entry completely glosses over the main subject of this Competitive Writing Competition: theorising who killed RonnieVanZant.

Keep trying, son, and you will get there (son).

As for my own entry and theory for why RonnieVanZant died: I think it was a question of money.

Here I am berating TheBlob and then I see him drop dead before my very eyes.

Rest in peace, TheBlob, let it be known Mr_J- is a ruthless goon who would rather kill his competition rivals than to win from them fair and square. If I die let it be known that it was Mr_J- who murdered me to secure the victory and the prize money.

My entry had little to do with the actual competition. I was merely showing support for this competition by letting it be known I was willing to donate some things to the winner. As for "entry" it was a joke, learn to take one, like the bullet you took, whoever you are. As for who killed you, I am even less aware than you are as to who killed you. But take care, son.

Son, I don't know where to begin... Sometimes in this mafioso world of ours people don't always have the best intentions. Was it a question of money? Most likely it was not about the money son.. I've seen you shoot at random people myself included in past lives. I think honestly your fate was destined to be short lived whether it was now or a little later on down the line.. I feel like there's a ratio of instigating vs length of life, and mate I believe you were on the instigating side of the spectrum...

Our dearest RonnieVanZant (god rest his soul) did not deserve the bullet he caught. 

He challenged the status quo. He took people in, shot some, taught some and shot some more for no apparent reason.

Some believe this was down to admin errors - made right with "Sorry, here is $1,000,000 son". Either way, a very fine leader. 

Managing the goon TomOfFinland as his RHM was enough of an accodlate to be considered one of the greatest Crew Leaders we have seen in a long time around here. 

RonnieVanZant, we miss you... son. 

It's only natural that when a man like Ronnie enters the fray, intense feelings of jealousy, fear and admiration follow. In a matter of days, his crew took over the Streets, he drew a strong line against purging, and stood tall as the most public-facing crewleader in 15, maybe 20 years. Could Skorp, a feeble-minded associate, have orchestrated the death of so powerful a figure without assistance? Unlikely, son. Am I alleging some greater conspiracy at work? You bet, son. But who are the players? I don't know. Somebody needed Ronnie out of the picture. It might go all the way to the top. Could it all have been a set up to allow TomOfFinland the opportunity to kill Ken? I can believe it. Ken was a huge nerd. I laugh at Ken's death. Heartily. But was it worth Ronnie's? Who's to say. 

Ronnie where the fuck is my money you scamming scumbag
