Whilst each city rebuilds and continues furthering their interests, Los Angeles will remain free from our influence. Over time and as individuals demonstrate that they are capable and deserving of running their own families, this situation will be reviewed by the Godfather Council. No individual Godfather holds title over any city other than their own and the decision on the future of Los Angeles will be determined by the Godfather Council.

For the time being, impress your Don, impress your Godfather and work hard for your family. Each individual Godfather will have their own set of criteria that they require to be met by potential candidates. The Godfather Council believes that this will necessitate potential candidates to raise their own performances and will restore some semblance of worth to the authorisation process that has been significantly cheapened in the past. It is supposed to be difficult and something that only the elite achieve.

I think we should keep it.

It's the only way members can be a CL that are not on current CL's "friends lists".  Let us have our dream of being CL, at least for the time being...specifically me.

I have a dream where the people of Las Vegas can sleep easy at night, knowing that their fellow brethren won't be killed at the slot machines.

I have a dream where Las Vegas will become the finest city in the land, with established families bringing diversity into the streets.

With those dreams and many others, I propose that the Godfather Council enact these simple guidelines:

• We have four cities currently without any families, so the Council should allow only TWO families to start up in each city.
• Stop the open opportunities to start a family in Las Vegas, so as to bring order to those streets

If only two crew leaders are authed per city, this will temporarily establish some order into those cities. Once those families prove themselves, and that the city as a whole isn't bloodthirsty, then the GF Council can allow more families to be authed.

My brothers and sisters, I dream that the solutions to our problems are very simple. SOMEONE NEEDS TO START A FAMILY IN THE FOUR OPEN CITIES! The godfathers can decide whatever way they want to, they have earned their power and respect.

Personally, I like the idea of a mixture of all three ideas you bring up Mr FattyFats which in my ideas include placing a 'cap' on the total number of leaders in LV, moving leaders to fill the empty city's based on some sort of agreement made between the Godfathers and otherwise we leave Las Vegas a place where those who want to take a chance and for those who want to do it by doing things less traditionally in terms of setting up. I believe an empty city that has a bunch of hoodlum running loose, selling drugs and making profit without a proper mob organization residing is a loss in profits and money makes the world go around.. as they say.. right??

On a random note I wish there was a tweaked system in terms of bodyguards or it reviewed as I think it creates a major advantage and will keep a lot of mafioso from giving Las Vegas a go ahead or if the bullets go flying obviously will give someone a better chance. -  Just trying to think of the little guys out there with big aspirations when I say that. (nothing against those who have bodyguards already running family's there, do your thing and prosper - you played things the best with the boundaries you were given and are succeeding and prospering and things are stable and relations well)

I don't see why Las Vegas should be closed, I agree with quite a few people that have already spoken, Las Vegas is exciting, I see Las Vegas as the where anyone can be a leader, Everyone can be a leader given the right friends that want to work with them.

I dont believe we will see anyone else from STL, New Orleans and Chicago coming over, I could imagine that most of the people that are murning their friends and greatful they still have theirs will hope their Godfathers will have better plans for them.

I hope the Godfather Council not actually do alot, maybe allow some of their trusted familys the option to move into their own empty city, then when they are ready another maybe... leaving what is Las Vegas as it is, The exciting Casino based city! Where I can drive out to the desert cook meth and get high wit strippers yo!

I think in Las Vegas I get the feel everyone is just content with running their own familys, Working with the new people joining this emerging city and enjoying the ride.

As a resident of Las vegas I would semi agree with this plan that has been laid out, only I do not feel the compeition should be ended for the simple matter that the compeition is not over yet and for the people who are here for the most part I think are still enjoying the compeition.

I do think the God father coucil should make it so no more people can set up here, who ever makes god father should have the choice of who stays and who should dis-band, everyone has worked real hard with there families here and I dont think should all get the shit end of the stick so to speak, at the same time it is a competition and not everyone can be a winner sadly.

With the lack of stable cities at the moment I do think who ever cant stay should be given time to join else where unless of course the god father coucil decides they have proved themselves worthy enough to claim a new city, or serve under one of the current god fathers auths to have there new city.

There are plenty of ways we can go about dealing with this, I will admit that the pickings are starting to slim down for a new member to this life of ours but at the same time you cant forget that there also people out side of Las vegas that deserve auth maybe in the new cities. No if ands or buts, something should and im sure more then likely will get done here.

Lets just try and avoid blood shed over the end of the competition in Las Vegas when it comes.

JessiePinkMan I understand where your coming from but dont you think if the right friends and member's worked together magic couldnt happen in the other city's if given the chance?

Ahh Mr Bagman, I agree with you if the LV leaders can focus on building up and working together, We have the room to mentor and nurture young new professions to our business' I can only see people wanting to join the excitement that is Las Vegas, And as long as we continue to have the right attitude I cant see why the Godfather Council will want to stop the... "competition" Altho... I dont see LV as a competition... It is nothing other then the chance for people who should have been leaders who never got the chance, The bloodlines that are not after claiming turf... They just want their own shot in the limelight.

Cheer's to Las Vegas!It has come along way and still has much more to go.As of Las Vegas It is a competition.

But like you I to don't feel its a competition I feel its a lot of lost good lives that died for the cause of a dream to get out and see and explore new things.

And Many of the Las Vegas Blood line who have died still linger around and if they can use there ancestor's history to learn from and evolve and come together there will be More great things to come.

Personally, I think ending this competition would be a bad idea.

Firstly, i think it is a great source of entertainment which many enjoy watching unfold.

Secondly, it is a chance for anyone who wants auth to have a go. I'm not slating the auths of today but without being in certain groups or of certain bloodlines. You have little chance of auth. Las Vegas is a brilliant opportunity for everyone to try their hand and develop their skills in a variety of ways.

In my opinion ending the Las Vegas competition would be the worst thing the GF council could do. I mean, why would you want to spoil then fun?!

I agree with Rory.  The people who want to be there know the risks but want nothing but to at least to give it a shot and their all non the less.

My suggestion is to have Chicago and St. Louis control thier own compitition with seperate sets of rule so that their were two cities doing this rather than one huge city.  Then it would be really interesting in my opinion.

My father looked upon this as a way to hollow out oppsition and i look at it the same.  Watching the size of Las vegas now, united it could hold its own possibly and like any other city is a case of finding what holds them together instead of what causes the breakdowns and bloodshed.

I think of there is a cap on the families in LV and that is reached and the next guy wants it he must take a family out of the equation all by himself without help from his current family lol... be fun but hard :)

I don't think we should end the competition, rather I believe that it should be expanded to all the open cities. Let whoever can hold their city get the Rank of Gf and give us more than just LV to do battle in.
