Meh... It's not the fact that they planted somebody in NY. SL was famous for it. It's the fact that they could get no info whatsoever and they just fabricated it.

Although, tbh, to send a cheater that asked for promotions and just "came on too strong" in everything he did was probably not the smartest choice either.

Had STL went at Chicago first would it be different? Of course it would, the preemptive strike is basically death to whoever is on the receiving end, power doesn't matter if you don't see a shot coming.

A pre-emptive strive is only as good at the people striking.  Would things be different had STL taken their advanced warning and done something about it?  a little, but I assure you, the results would be the same.

A little? Lets try a lot, like no CLs in Chicago. Things would have been A LOT different, they hit their targets in the first wave with pros flying right behind and then BG wack the shit out of whoever needs it, STL was not a small city. Everyone has the basic concept of it all down.

Assuming that every single gun STL had could hit, which we know isnt the case.  sorry, this just would not have worked out differently. 

I think there are many points through the conversation I just read which are incorrect, which isn't a hugh surprise when I look to see the standard of reply people seem to be giving.

The reason St Louis moved on New York, well, that was their choice and seeing Madara stand tall up there and claim that it was "because we can" hasn't helped their credibility in this. I don't quite know what point Madara was trying to get across with this, but he doesn't seem to have done a particularly good job.
The accusation of a first wave of attacks followed by pro's flying in right behind quite laughable, I can't speak for everyone involved but I know that I didn't sit behind a pro wack all night. Not only this, but not one attempt on my life was made by anyone. I think this just shows the lack of organisation involved in the retaliation, even after there were many St Louis folk left wondering around to fight their cause.

Really? If you're using someone missing on people while having to scramble for shots and try to hit anyone unprotected as an example then ok. There's a difference between on the fly and some planning.

I am pretty sure I am basing it on fact, but if you want an example, remember back to the 9 hit first wave of the NY war, and rememebr that 4 hits were protected bosses, and 1 was an earner.

Clarity heard many voices and couldn't really take listening to them all at once. She had heard a few familiar one's speak, but she figured it was best just to focus on what the dead speak had said.

Giving a few smiles to those she knew and even to those she didn't. Clarity frowned upon what was being said. She knew that no one had actually came out to the streets addressing what had happened, but the man that was now dead only put Saint Louis to shame.

I hear a lot of "coulda", "shoulda" here. What's done is done and no amount of arguing will ever PROVE an outcome other than the one we've just witnessed. Don Clarity is right. Now is not the time for a pissing match and I don't see a reason to disrespect anyone involved in the wars of the last week. Instead, we should mourn the loss of three cities, celebrate the many accomplishments of those that have fallen and look to rebuild this thing of ours.

Nobody is trying to prove anything, I'm stating something that's seen time and time again. It would have been a lot different, those 4 (using the example you gave me)other shots would have been placed at importance followed by pro shots. Which means those guns would have been given another chance. There's no way you can honestly tell me it wouldn't be different in a major way regardless of the outcome.
