Time since the recent nationwide war had seen Philadelphia shaped into a budding metropolis once more. The infrastructure of the criminal aspects within the city had certainly changed once the gunsmoke settled. Amid all the chaos, the mayor had taken major criticism from concerned citizens. With Godfather Chairman Spike no longer around to keep the mayor at bay, they took it upon themselves to take action. Then Godfather, StripheCorelli , was on the hunt out on the West Coast when the ambitious mayor struck.

All of the Corelli Organization assets were seized in one fell swoop. There had been indictments, but a stiff lip from Striphe and the help of a crack legal team employed by the now Chairmen Vittorio had made short work of the charges. Now that the kangaroo court had been put to bed, Don StripheCorelli had been given the nod to open a new headquarters in Bella Vista. 

The underbelly of the town through the direction of Godfather Chairmen Vittorio had laid low over the last month. Efforts were made all around to keep activities shrouded even more than ever until the legal proceedings had concluded. To ensure this sort of thing wouldn't be a regular occurrence, Vittorio had coffee with the mayor. During the engagement, Vittorio shared some recent photos of the Mayor and his pastor's wife that he'd had developed. The mayor was quick to agree that The Corellie Crime Family would no longer be under the scrutiny of his office or the District Attorney. 

Don Furio had spent time keeping the riff-raff out of Bella Vista and shaping it into a profitable territory once more. Now that his work was done securing the location he would be finding a new base of operations directly under Vittorio in Old City District as his captain. 

Godfather Vittorio handed over the keys to the large new headquarters as well as the deed. "Good luck to you, Striphe. I'm glad to see you back to wearing a bold suit like a man of your standing deserves. I'm proud to call this city home. Especially with those like Godfather Madness, Furio, and yourself here to help run it with me. I expect you to put a bullet in that imposter calling himself godfather we spoke of the other day. That's talk for another time, though." Vittorio waved his arms as servers began to walk in with trays of champagne for everyone.

"A hundred of the days like this," Vittorio said as he tipped his flute of champagne against Domani 's glass. He took a nice long drink as his eyes went from hers out to the crowd of their friends and colleagues. Some of the most dangerous and important mafioso in the country were gathered all together to celebrate growth of a smol don.

Furio had enjoyed his time in Bella Vista but he was glad to be back in the Old City District. Carpenter's Hall, the Liberty Bell but most important of all, his beloved deli.

He embraced his dear friend and Godfather Chaiman, Vittorio, before speaking.

"It is a pleasure to be back in the Old City District and I look forward to working as your Caporegime, Godfather. Under your leadership Philadelphia will continue to flourish."

"I would also like to extend my heartiest congratulations to my good friend StripheCorelli on taking his rightful place once more. I look forward to watching your operation grow big!"

Furio took a champagne flute and briefly raised it.

"Salute!"

As StripheCorelli listened to Godfather Vittorio speak he held the deed and the keys in his hands firmly as his life depended on them. He was wearing one of his best suits, along with a fancy gold watch and thick gold necklace tucked under his suit and his shoes had a nice shine where you could damn near see your reflection. As he looked around at his friends and entourage and groupies he smiled at his friend Don Furio and nodded his head in respect. StripheCorelli was standing next to Godfather Madness but because of the size difference Madness needed two spots. You see Madness was the bodybuilder type and StripheCorelli mostly drank, gambled, smoked cigars and had a horrible sleep pattern including a bad run with the wrong women.

As Striphe held his glass in his hand he could not forget those that had passed and his friends and family who could not be here today. He took a deep breath of the September air as he looked around the room and then looked outside as he could see the sun was starting to set. The colors were beautiful with multiple different colors from orange to red and there were clouds off in the distance lowering at the horizon, disappearing quickly minute by minute and you could see them moving to the west quickly. 

As he listened his friend Godfather Vittorio finishing his speech he smiled and raised his glass in the air for his city, family and the future 

As I work to rebuild our criminal operations over here at The Corelli Crime Family here in Bella Vista, I cannot stop but think about all of the talented and loyal mobsters who I have worked with and who are on our team and I cannot be more excited for the future, even as unsure as things might always be in our line of work.
