What a wild and wonderful time it has been. Everyone has put in such great efforts towards The Great Container Crew Job Fair, and so many people have made life long friends in the process. We have so much to be grateful for, like the food and keychains, but in the end, it’s about being grateful for each other being such great and tender people.

The Great Container Crew Job Fair started out with a lone lemonade stand, and a few milkshakes. At the start, the lemonade had seeds in it, but we got better at it with time. We put care and love into what we served. After our lemonade was perfected, we started offering tea, and fruit toppings for the milkshakes. People then supplied board games, and prime rib. It was then that, and I’ll take credit for it, the idea of a barbeque was brought literally and figurately to the table.

People brought potato salad, and macaroni salad. There were mashed potatoes, an assortment of greens, carrots, mushrooms, lima beans, asparagus, broccoli, and corn. Macaroni and cheese was a-plenty. We also had fried okra. And then… There were the meats. We had steaks, ribs, a big roasted pig, burgers, shrimp, lobster tails, grilled salmon, and even a bit of octopus. For dessert, there were cream pies, apple pies, blueberry crisp pies, chocolate pies, ice cream, cookies of all kinds, fresh watermelon, and sliced pineapples. And plenty of drinks to wash all of it down. Of course, the Great Container Crew Job Fair’s lemonade was the biggest hit.

Porkchop avoided the pork of course, but didn’t hesitate to scarf down desserts. Aatrox ate many-a-cookie. Boingaloing had a good share of ribs. Father_OMalley filled a hefty plate too! Mickey gnawed on various plates. Minnie drank her tea. Fiadh had some of the seafood. RandySavage was a steak man. Wally-Ruston, being a walrus, also ate a lot of the seafood. NotCassi picked at some of the blueberry pie. JeffyWizzbang also avoided the pork, but had most of everything else. TomBombadil ate a burger and had a few desserts. Votingforafelon had a well done steak with ketchup. Chancy_Stone ate some of the roasted pig, with a pineapple slice. Geoffrey housed a few ribs and lobster tails. Horus ate only the vegetables. InterruptHandler took a burger off the grill too early, but still ate it. Jono2 had a big steak with some shrimp, and MissNiki had the same. Break took some of the meats home in his pocket. The BBQ was a total hit. 

The Great Container Crew Job fair was not without controversy unfortunately. The rumors of them eating local family pets, dogs and cats, was very tough to address. I am a proud boy to say that I made sure to set the record straight on this gross accusation and injustice.

The goal of the Great Container Crew Job Fair was to get everyone available and talking. In my opinion, it was a great success. People spoke, ate, and had fun. There were many games, and people bonded. There’s so much to be proud of, and you’re all winners in my book.

I hope that in time, the temporarily housed will find a more permanent and a peaceful home, as they have had much opportunity to speak to the ready and willing leaders. Many have already done so. Just a little sweetness goes a long way, and The Great Container Crew Job Fair has been full of it.

Thank you to all the participants, and I am sure we will have another party this week at the Great Container Crew Job Fair this weekend. I would like to take recommendations for a themed party, so please don’t hesitate to add your input. So far, I am thinking we could have a Hawaiian Night or a Vampire Night, or maybe a Renaissance Night!

Perhaps a "firing squad" party where all container crew members are lined up against a wall and shot the second they leave their HQ. 

But I can vouch that the lemonade was a bit hit. The milkshakes were a little sketchy. Only two flavours? 

How about a little effort. 

I, for one, did not attend the container crew job fair as I had heard whispers it was a blowjob fair.

Any rumors involving hamburgers and my person are greatly exaggerated.

Overhearing the talk of the successful Great Container Crew Job Fair and new ideas for another weekend bash got BrassMonkey thinking. 

Hawiian? Burgers? He recalled the words of a wise man, albeit feared man, who once told him. "Hamburgers.... the cornerstone of any nutricious breakfast"!

With that mouthwatering thought, words tumbled from his lips, "Perhaps we could get some Big Kahuna Burgers at the job fair? I hear they are one tasty burger! Pairs great with those $5 milkshakes. I, myself, am partial to the newly perfected lemonade. It's rather addictive".

He rubbed his stomach as it began to rumble awake. 

I personally couldn't attend much of the great job fair, I had more pressing issues. Something about copious amounts of beer and pool time in a hot climate. Anyway, enough of that and my adventures.

I did however pass the doors a few times and it sounded like nothing but good times. There was laughter, there was frolicking and there was food to be had. Oh the food. It was plentiful. 

I did jump in one day, I brought my famous ALA: SCOUSE with beetroot and a crusty loaf from Joan's bakers down the street. I have to say, it was wasted on some of the uncultured swines in there. Scouse is a food from the motherland. It's a dinner of champions. Not many touched it.

Anyway. The job fair seemed like a roaring success and I send many congratulations to those who lead it and took part. I wish you all the greatest luck in finding new homes.

Makima can be seen in the background eating the leftover scouse that Space-to-the-pole had cooked up, remembering fond times of the fun job fair. "Nothing is wasted here!" she shouted over at him, waving a piece of the loaf from the bakery to go with it. "Big up the North!" she proceeded to shout, pretty drunk at this point. Should a job fair have so much alcohol? Either way, she wasn't complaining. 

Hey SkUzZ, I left the container crew if you're feeling froggy.

Now that statement I can get behind.

I very much appreciate such a job fair, although, not as active as others in the conversations that were had, it was during it I realized I think I had found a great person and leader to join and eventually I had gotten into messages with sir DeadlySin. My assistant TomOfGimpland also would join us in noble Chicago, but he unfortunately got hit by a bus and had to retire back to Switzerland, or wherever Tom was from.

There were times I felt frustrated with the lack of messages and sometimes I felt some of my messages just didn't go through, but eventually I had gotten into conversation with several members of the upper structures of our world and from there, I eventually found my way to my new home.

I personally would like to thank those who spent time helping those of us who were homed, yet homeless in a way.  I will feel odd not seeing familiar faces every day, but in such a life that we lead, it is inevitable. 

The Stroganoffer appreciates those who put in effort.

Here's the absolute truth. There was a huge inflatable doll in the room. Barely anything could be heard or seen. I hear she is tucked away safely now. It was nothing short of mocking the Container Crew. Is anyone surprised? There are old and new grudges to be upheld! I know much more but I will not be bothered to put it here. Add some more paranoia in your soup. Because either way your paranoia is what stagnating business.  

One last thing. How dare anyone tell a CL they cannot have anyone out of the container crew!
