Beefs Junkyard Started by: BeefStroganoffer on Sep 28, '24 03:04

Beef had been gaining more and more responsibility and wanted to make sure he wouldn’t be caught up by the pesky federal agents for something as stupid as tax evasion, I mean, who would get arrested for that as a mobster. Beef had been making tens of thousands per week now and that money needed to be squeaky clean in order to give it to his boss, Chairman DeadlySin.

A few weeks earlier Beef and his boys had heard of some local boys running a small drug operation out of a junkyard just outside of 12th Street. Beef didn’t really care about the drugs or the men themselves, but the business itself. The junkyard would be pretty big, very cluttered and even harder to navigate. He knows people would come to junkyards all the time to dispose of certain things, people, cars, merchandise.. A little bit of everything.

Beef and a few of his bodyguards took three cars out to this junkyard, fully armed and prepared for a fight, should they not want to buy out. He wasn’t expecting some local rednecks in Michigan would allow themselves to get bought out by someone that wasn’t local. He was prepared for all of it though. As they arrived, they all got out of their vehicles, they all openly carried pistols and rifles, many being veterans of the great war. Beef instead carried a briefcase with some money in it. They all walk up to the door and rap at it.

Moments later, they walked through the door and approached the six or so men that were sitting down. Beef walked up and looked for the one that ran the group. A middle aged man in a wifebeater and half his teeth missing spat into a vase nearby and claimed responsibility for the operation.

“Well sir, I’d like to buy this place, I need you and the rest of your boys out of here” He said as he negotiated with the man.  The man began to laugh at him and the others as well. Beef didn’t like being played with and decided he’d just do things the hard way. While the man was distracted, he pulled his handgun and shot the man pointblank in the head, killing him. All of the others panicked and began to reach for their weapons, only for Beefs bodyguards to put them down before any could ever reach for them.

He had a cleanup crew come in to make sure everything would be cleaned up and he and his boys would setup shop as their Detroit operations here for alcohol smuggling across the great lakes and the occasional gun running. The bottom of the junkyard had a few rooms that almost resembled an old bomb shelter, it was filled to the brim with old boxes filled with explosives, guns and alcohol. It would be good to finally get some money flowing.

It had been a long day at the office. Jamie wasn't much for the violent side of the mafia world. He preferred to make his money with brains not brawn. So when his brother pulled up to his house with dead cop in the trunk of his car, he was obviously out of his element.

"You have to help me bro. Me and the boys robbed a bank. Everything was going great but when we were leaving I got ambushed by a fucking beat cop. Imagine that, the pig was just walking his beat and stumbled upon us. Fucking rookie was shaking so bad I disarmed him, knocked him out and threw him in the trunk. I pulled over when I got out of town and plugged him. I know I fucked up, help me and I will make things right I promise."

Jamie didn't have time to be pissed off. "Give me the fucking keys and fuck off. I don't care if you have to walk the ten miles home. Just get the fuck out of here, now! I know where to take this. You own me you prick."

He drove the car with a dead cop in the trunk to Beefs Junkyard just outside 12th Street. He explained of situation to BeefStroganoffer . "As you can see I'm in a bind here. How much will this cost me?"

As he sat in his office, he heard a panicked voice come in, a man from Nevada who apparently was in some moderate distress. He quickly got up from his desk and opened his door, holding it open for the man jamie_

"Your brother and his boys pulled a job and some beat cop wanted to make a name for himself and got put down huh. That is unfortunate. Do you know if there were any witnesses to the crime? Do you know if anyone saw the car, or if anyone saw you drive here? Don't want any coppers coming round this way, they'd be losing dozens of coppers if they think they'd come to my fortress" Beef said as he laughed. He got up and walked back towards the car, the man in the trunk was most definitely dead.

"We can do this job, that is no problem... But the car will be destroyed for evidence sake. It will cost you two grand, small bills only, we'll finish the job and you can pay when its available" He said as he patted the man on his back. He called for one of his guys to grab the body and dump it into an old oil barrel. Another man took the car to a crusher nearby and the car would be completely destroyed. No one would ever know about what happened to this poor man.

Chuck Bass stepped off the private jet and onto the tarmac, the cold Detroit air biting at his tailored coat. He had come a long way from the high society of New York, where the most dangerous games were fought in boardrooms and penthouses. But this was different. This was the underworld, and Chuck had recently made a name for himself by leveraging his family’s connections to expand into new territories. Detroit, with its crumbling buildings and a reputation for rough dealings, was the perfect spot to open a new export line in drugs and weapons. Word on the street was that a guy named Beef ran the junkyard near 12th Street, and Chuck had come to check it out firsthand.

Beef was a man of few words, but his reputation in the city spoke volumes. A former enforcer turned businessman, Beef had transformed his junkyard into a front for all sorts of illicit trades. It wasn’t just scrap metal he was dealing with he had a network of people that could move anything: from high grade weapons to a variety of drugs. Chuck had heard rumours that Beef wasn’t just connected, but feared, respected by both the old school mafia and the new blood trying to carve out their own piece of the city.

As he drove through the rusted gates, the sight of half-smashed cars and towering piles of metal made him uneasy, but he quickly masked it with the kind of cool detachment he had perfected over the years.

The junkyard was quieter than Chuck expected for a place so tied to the underworld. As his black SUV rolled to a stop, he noticed the way the few men on the grounds watched him eyes sharp, calculating. They were gauging him, sizing him up, as if waiting for some slip, some sign of weakness. Chuck stepped out of the car with his usual confident swagger, adjusting his cufflinks. He was a Bass, after all, and this was just another deal. The heavy set man who greeted him was exactly how Chuck had imagined Beef: a mountain of a man with a rough voice that seemed too low for a normal person to speak. He smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes.

Beef motioned for Chuck to follow him deeper into the yard, where a few old trucks were parked next to a dilapidated building. He had never been one to back down from a challenge, and this junkyard, with its hidden dangers and promises of power, “Beefstroganoffer you think you can help store a few guns here, whilst I get logistics in order for my trip back to Philly?”

Beef had it bad. He had just killed Candy, a Don from Detroit. He needed to quickly hide away. He had taken some protection, so he was alive and fine for a short while. He quickly got into his junkyard and finished things up. He had given the task of aiding a Philadelphian customer to his assistant. He decided to head to the cellar and grab a rifle and watch the surrounding.

He knew they would come, they always do. The wolves of the New York and Detroit would soon be coming for ole' Beef.

He poured himself a drink of scotch and enjoyed it while keeping an eye out. He was paranoid, scared even, but he couldn't let it show, not now.
