| Transfer of Ownership - DFP/HQ/etc. | Started by: Tupac on Sep 29, '24 13:50 |

What if you could transfer ownership of your Drug Front Property or Headquarters to a willing buyer. You could likely sell it at a desired price make an increased profit off it. This would come with all the forts and armory and threads already within the crew. This could be very useful if you are moving to a new city as a CL and the GF of your former city does not want to pay all those hefty fees to set someone new up. Thoughts? |

I could see this as a useful feature for the HQ side of it- but very easily taken advantage of. This would make things a lot easier for authorized HQ turnovers, absolutely; but it would also make things SUPER easy for rogues to get a huge advantage if they were to somehow acquire a currently operating, strong HQ. |

Amira thank you so much for your input, this could certainly be something rogues or the ruling class could take advantage of. I could see rogues passing on shots selling their HQ to others for a $1 fee before they die and that process being repeated so they can take more shots right away with an increased boost to their gun because they are a crew leader. I would argue that in a rogue situation those forts for those HQ's would likely be dismantled by the attackers of those rogues which would result in a low HQ defense. So what if a transfer of ownership had to be approved by the ruling GFC of that city? That the GFC would select approve/deny as one does when request of permanent auths take place? Would that solve the HQ/DFP transfer of ownership to rogues do you think? |

I think that would go a long way to prevent that kind of thing. Obviously we can't safeguard against every eventuality- people who want to do destructive/disruptive things will find a way to do it, so we can't essentially bubble-wrap everything. So, overall, I could see this working; but I would be interested in what others have to say about it, as well. |

Personally don't think this is needed. Quads from credit sales / a static regime for a long time, have already vastly inflated the available cash in game. A DFP / HQ / Forts should be a drop in the ocean. Total Available Cash In Game: $3,800,000,000 |
