The Rev walks by for the second time to the matter being discussed in the streets amongst his fellow mafioso. Bloodline hunting may be wrong but CP did it for quite sometime. I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right, but there will be people who have the gun and don't care to see CP rank back. Some CP were horrible and some weren't. Either way none of them will be a don and they can't get power without being made man under a crew leader first. The point of taking out CP was to bring a new time in amongst us a Revolution you could say for our world. If project mayhem took them out with three dons and almost all high ranking crew members they most certainly can kill some wise guys. The Rev leaves to go get some coffee with his family member Sal. |

Well Jasper, If I am to understand you correctly. You suggest we replace tyrants with tyrants? So the work of the current leaders will be all for nothing killing off anyone that may or may not be CP. How would that make life any better around here? Lucky for us I believe the powers that be are smarter then that and understand the risks at hand. If CP was to get revenge it will be attempted with or with out this change. And I for one am positive that aspect has been thought of before this change was announced. |

| Nicholas: whenever there is a revolution, there needs to be a transitional period where counter-revolutionaries are dealt with harshly. This is not replacing one tyrant with another, it is dealing with one tyrant in a ruthless and efficient manner so as not to return to tyrannical times. The French Revolution and the prolific use of the guillotine is a good example of this. | |

| Sadly Jasper that cannot be as applicable here, especially if aforementioned harshness causes a direct decrease in criminal activity. If the leaders of our cities have that much interest in self preservation than the welfare of organised crime then I, for one, certainly have no desire to be here. | |

| Funny Modfather, you didn't have that opinion when the CPers were having the same interest in self preservation over the good of the community. | |

Yeah, hypocrisy is bad Modfather. It's not just about self-preservation. It's also about keeping a bunch of tyrants out of power and keeping our liberties. I think that the prospect of life under Project Mayhem will attract as many new mafiosi to our way of life as the horrible nepotism of CP drove away. |

Which CPer are you referring to there Sar-Chasm? The one who donated 2 million to the Mafia Tribune? The one who offered 1 million to the the best entrant to his activity boosting competition? The one who rewarded the best street speakers each week? The one who, and I realise this gets bandied around a lot, donated money from his own pocket to City Hall? I'm not stupid, I know self preservation will always come top of the list; the difference here is that for the CP conglomerate, people leaving our life was a side effect of their self preservation. Judging from comments like this "Better that hundreds of innocent people die than have CP back", it seems more as though driving people away in their droves seems to be more the overall aim, let's hope such an idiotic viewpoint is not endemic of the leadership. Oh, and just to use that stunning quote again. "Better that hundreds of innocent people die than have CP back", who's the tyrant Jasper? |

As I've already explained, innocent casualties are sometimes a side-effect of winning a revolution against tyrants. The terroir after the French Revolution is just one example. Say America got into a war with someone like Japan, and America decided that dropping a massive explosive device onto a city like Hiroshima killing millions of people in order to end the war and SAVE millions more lives, would that be right or wrong? I think you see my point. Also, hypocrisy is not cool. How many innocent people died under CP? |

How about the ones who WROTE for the Tribune? Or the ones who didn't bloodline hunt? Or the ones who didn't cry and accuse people of cheating every time something bad happened to them? Or the ones who didn't purposefully try to drive people whom they didn't like as far away from this place as possible? Oh wait, that's because those CPers don't exist. Soz. |

Is there any point in constantly arguing about the merits or otherwise of CP and Project Mayhem? Neither 'faction' is ever going to sway in their beliefs and prejudices. This thing of ours is in the situation it is and that's just the way things are. Better to put your energies into dealing with the situation than wasting time with petty squabbling. |

How about the ones who WROTE for the Tribune? Numbers4Glory (FakeManCP) Ask Mary - I believe he submitted two articles, which is quite a deal more than others. Or the ones who didn't bloodline hunt? Curiosity - What? He didn't. Or the ones who didn't cry and accuse people of cheating every time something bad happened to them? Paul_Kersey - I don't believe I ever saw him make any accusations either here or in the coffeeshops. Or the ones who didn't purposefully try to drive people whom they didn't like as far away from this place as possible? Deviant. In fact, I think he actually offered one of your predecessors an olive branch Sar. Anyway, there you have that. Gradient, I accept your comments and I'm glad there is a voice of reason here. I am starting to realise that many, including Sar-chasm, are so misguided by their own personal hatred that they're incapable of reasonable judgement. I'm not pro CP. I'm not anti CP. I'm just anti idiot, and an intelligent enough person to realise that just as Project Mayhem are not angelical, CP are not the devil incarnate. |

So your answer to my question is "1 CP member"? Wow, how dare I say such mean things about them when one CP member offered to write for the tribune. When one CP member says he didn't bloodline hunt, when one CP member - according to you - didn't do everything he could to drive people away from this game. I am *so sorry* for speaking ill of these completely innocent angelical beings. How dare I think that this place is better off without them. Say you're not pro CP all you like, all your talk, all your actions, everything you've done shows that you're as pro CP as anyone. This world would be better off if CP was gone. The influx of new people since the war *shows* that. But all you and your friends care about is power, no matter how many people - and yes, it was over hundreds - have to die so you can get it. But whatever, it doesn't matter. You're getting this place handed back to you on a silver platter, no matter how many other people suffer for it, so grats. |

I ask that the children of those who submitted stories contact me in regards to their money. I was going to publish a notice of this in the edition this weekend. I am sorry for the delay in reply but I spend the majority of my time outside of these cities. I will of course require proof of parentage for obvious reasons. Have a nice day. |

"Time will tell what will happen, whatever happens happens." I think that is the best way for everyone who isn't involved in the family planning to look at it. Of course each familys leaders will have a plan and of course they will be very secretive. So, if you are on the outside of the loop, we can only wait for time to show us what happens. |

I started this heated debate, so of course I should throw in a little input right? Well being a simple fellow as I am I'm going to look at the cold hard facts... Well, at least from my point of view. Before CP got owned = Game was super boring, no one was motivated to do anything, just being here was depressing having to pretend to like leaders who authed crews just to kill them. No one could say anything anti cp without getting killed. After CP = You can tell everyone is having the time of their life, always 50 or more members online at once. Street activity is up, hasn't been this exciting in a while. All those people who pretended to like cp talk about how happy they are that there gone...and there are the few who act like they don't hate cp (meaning they are cp so kill them jonnie) I don't know about you folks, but if cp wins and things go back to how they were. I'm going to be one sad sad incog cphating gangster. Now don't forget this is all from my point of view, how did you guys feel about before cp life compared to the beautiful, paradise that we live in now. |
