I think it would be a cool feature, and one that could change the ways of war, if Pro Pocket Pickers could snag more.
My idea is once you've traind to a level of brilance, you had a possibility to be able to take guns from others.

Of course BG's and such would be a counter active roll,
But I don't see why it couldn't be reality.
As it is now PP'ing is almost a lost tool, it's not very productive for anything,
except for contest/ sport.

Thoughts?

I was led to believe you could train a stealth skill with PPing already adding a new dynamic to war already.

Although I've never heard that, and would love to see confirmation, it's good to know.

That adds one point to PP'ing,
no thoughts on swiping weapons?
..Disarming your enemy,
anyone from a pro'er, to a top knotch man on a citys HS.

It'd be fine as all it'd be a counter to the top hitter, but what would the counter be for the top pickpocketers. You'd need to add another element to balance it out. :\

Report Post Tip

if this were implemented, I am sure that it would lead to pping being banned across the board.

Report Post Tip

Yeah again. You'd need something to balance the game out a third way to counter the pickpocketers or something.

I sort of like this idea and think it should be talked through a bit more. A couple of things I would like to add:

  • PP'ing a gun has very low stealth level. Make it something like 90% chance of being caught. That way it is likely to be only used during war tim.
  • PP'ing a gun should also include the PP back feature. Thereby allowing the PP'ed player to steal there gun right back, and giving the original PP'er the higher flight and wack times
  • When a gun is PP'ed, the victim should also get a 2 hour Pro time against a wack, thus enabling themselves to earn back their gun without the fear of being attacked. As the idea is it halts there ability to kill, not increases there chance of being killed without being able to wack back

I do like this idea, as the PP could certainly slow down wars.

Also, from an admin point of view, it would encourage armours to be bought by crews, thereby increasing credit sales, as obviously you could eaisly regain your weapon by going to the amoury, but only if your family have one. This will therefore also increase the games income.

I like the idea. Obviously a way to counter the idea that PP'ing will be banned across the board as Eve stated. Maybe a PP option of whether to attempt for the cash or the weapon? Or FattyFats "PP'ing has a very low stealth level". Either/or is good.

Although, FattyFats... I don't think the victim should recieve the two hour pro time as you have stated. The idea I am assuming is for this to generally be used in war time. If you give the victim enough time to get his weapon back via conventional means would that not then make the feature redundant? If I was to use this feature in war time I would be taking the gun of the best wacker I could find with the idea of him not being able to shoot back and make him an easier target in the time it takes for him to get his gun back. Saying that though, what is the pro time given to the victim after a PP? That tid bit has slipped my mind.

Report Post Tip

FattyFats I do think the 90% rate of being caught is rather fair!

Report Post Tip

On the note of a 2 hour pro time. Ehh, not thinking it's so much of the best way to go about a sucurity insurance.
It would make Familys want to have that armory, and to be better safe, than sorry... well ya better have it.

Rising the usage of the armory, there for would certainly have a small,
but nice decent spike in credit sales.
