I am setting some goals for this acct. As I kind of see it as a throwaway and just playing for the fun and nostolgia. Aways, what's the record for most kills (or equivalent since bg's dont = a +1 each) on an account? I want to set a goal of 10k but I don't know if that's too ambitious or not ambitious enough. I know they tapper after awhile, but I am less interested in the stat building of this account and more of the challenge. 

I reckon 10k kills for a throwaway account seems pretty average to me, I think you could get more but if it is just for fun see how many kills you can do per day, then per week.

27.5 kills every single day for a year will get you your target. 

I have heard of a few over 4k. Never heard anyone claim over 5k. 

Oreo those people must've been hoodwinking you, I've known people with 23k guns.

The 10k for a throwaway account mentioned earlier is a good average to aim for.

Serious players will do somewhere around 35-40 a day without breaking a sweat. If you aim upwards of 20k, you can land somewhere respectable like 15k. I have had accounts reach nearly 30k. Anything less than 10k is not worth bothering for, Oreo.
