1) How do we move forward? Firstly, we need the world to calm down. I would imagine the leaders have a plan, anyone who was born since the war, and they dont know who they are, will surely die? Is this bloodline hunting? Maybe. But it is common sense. Know some gangster might have the strength to kill you in the future, surely you would take him out before he gets too strong? Secondly, its time to get over whats happened. Its happened. Whats done is done. Stop the moaning and bitching (from some parts). Move forward. Living in the past is a criminal thing to do. It means you will never move forward. Yes, you might see what happened as a travesty, but it happened. Lets put it in the history books as the day God realised his world wasnt perfect. Get over it. Move on. 2) How long till the moaning and bitching starts? At the minute, everyone has a feel good factor. Everyone is slapping eachother on the backs, celebrating like they were just told Christmas was going to be every day of the week. But how long will this last? How long till the Project Mayhem Alliance (PMA) start authing their friends, and killing off high ranked threats? How long till people moan about things getting boring? It will happen. It always happens. Whenever one powerful group is taken down by another, the bank slapping starts, then people realise, it is no different, the names have just changed. I give it 2 weeks until people are complaining that things are 'boring.' It will happen, and I will laugh when it does. Anyway, thats my thoughts, I probably have some more but am too drunk to remember. so meh! |

Honestly, it's going to be a few weeks before you see any kind of order restored. Both sides of this arguement which, let's face it, isn't going to go away all by itself, have things going for or against them. There's going to be a period of cat and mouse, some bloodshed, but I'm sure not the bloodbath many are predicting and then in a couple of weeks (probably) another war like we saw a few days ago. Only when the dust has settled from all that, we will have a period of stability - expecting any kind of "moving on" at the moment is frankly naive. |

So pretty much the situation is leave this world and in a month if you still feel like you want to give it a try, come back. Otherwise keep dying in the gangster phase. In less than a week I lost "fathers" or whatever you wanna call it. Its not fun, its not interesting and most of all its making it less and less appealing to come back in here with each time that happens. Does it makes sense for this to be happening? May be. But that doesn't make it any better for me or possibly for a handful of other mafiosos as well. I can hear some of you guys saying "You don't like it, free to go". Thats not the point, but yeah, I think this might become the only solution since the circle civilian-thug-gangster-wack-civilian is repeating itself to infinity... And don't tell me only ppl who are unknown and potential CP are getting gunned down. With half of the crews closed and the other half not giving protection for shit, its just an open season for free kills over newly arrived ppl. |

| It's a bit hypocritical that a plan of action in restoring the 'good people' to power after finally getting rid of the 'bad' ones is to bloodline hunt the sons of those tyrants; something that everyone criticized CP for. | |

bloodline hunting is a part of life. Lets be honest, if someone was a threat, and you distinguished that threat, the chances are high that there son will hold a grudge and come after you. Look at the Premier family line for example. One of his ancestors went rouge and killed many leaders, next up, the current bred leads Project Mayhem. This justifies bloodline hunting im afraid, as it shows that if someone is a threat, chances are their entire family will be a threat. |

Just to address the bloodline hunting Issue. CP killed people who haven't had family on these shores for almost a year because of "who they were". That's bloodline hunting. The current situation is unique, in that the gangsters and goombas of the CP bloodline have awesome wacking ability and pre-destined talent to get to Don and fuck over the current regime... just as soon as they get made. Realistically, that's never going to be allowed to happen. If, after this generation is dead there is still bloodline hunting for the sake of it, then I will be standing side by side with Mr Modfather condemning those responsible. BUT - and here's where the fun starts - there's a lot of talent in the CP ranks. There's a lot of persuasive people that may get a CL on-side. There's certainly the ability around to get at least a few through the net to rogue in much the same fashion 'project mayhem' did, with their previous great strength restored. If you start examining the tactics and relationships being created, used, abused, it's all quite interesting really. I have no idea how it will turn out in the end, but I'm sure it will be an interesting few weeks. |

The current situation is unique because it involves our saviors killing everyone rather than a few isolated bloodlines. Hmmm...yeah...I can see the improvement. Anyone who didn't see this coming is a fool. It was never about removing tyrants. It was about replacing them with a chosen few who are just as bad if not worse. |

Well if that's how you choose to see it Punky, then that is how it will be for you. I wonder, if you were a leader currently, how would you handle the situation? This isn't meant to have a go at you, but since no one has had to face this situation before, I would like to hear some constructive thoughts about how would one approach this, instead of the usual bitching and labeling people. |

| I personally think Project Mayhem had a good meaning to it, but a slightly cruel execution. They killed everyone. My father was killed by Spider_Monkey for having a "Weird Name". (I personally think the admins restored stats for people like me and my father). Project Mayhem could've worked incredibly well if the PM leaders would take out the CP leaders, and replace them, and change around the CP mafia policies a bit. Unfortunately, now we have authed killing of potential CP members reincarnate. Is it a little far? Kind of, I mean, if those people aren't allowed to start over, then they aren't allowed to play the game anymore. Its not their fault that the Admins decided to restore stats. So, if the CP come back shooting, shoot back. If the CP just want to play the game. Stop bloodline killing. If you shot every person that is a "potential threat", you would just have another Salem Witch Trials, and kill them all. | |

| My bloodline was effectively sent away from these shores by CP because a distant ancestor of mine once killed the one they know as 'Selenity'. Now I own a flourishing orange business back in Sicily and fully intend to return to it after I've satisfied my curiosity here first. | |

Fiddler, can you leave by the nearest exit please? I heard the Hudson is good for swimming in this time of year, and I just bought these new flippers. Care to give them a test run for me? On a serious note though, what you just said is ridiculous. Killing gangsters because they might be threats in the future is hardly the way to go about it. After PM have survived the current issues of skills being passed down to the sons of those who died in the wartime, then they'll want to consider the old method of keeping friends close, but keeping enemies closer. That would be the most intelligent method. Controlling a group of people is often the better way of keeping power. If you kill someone when they're gangster, their son or daughter has a chance to shield their identity and that will bite you in the ass. |
