Seeing as there is over 50 pages of street posts dating back a fair while, the ability to be able to search for a thread by the title would be useful. I don't know about other people but I often look back through old street posts when things get a bit slow. The ability to search for threads would be easy to code, would probably reduce the bandwith usage of the site as people would not need to manually look through the pages and would also make the forums much easier to use. |

| Very much agree. I often find myself trawling through pages to find threads. It would also be useful of you could search by the person that posted it as well as the name of the thread. | |

Yeah, good point... Being able to search for threads via the name of the character who made them is an excellent idea. definitely should be added. |

I just thought of this myself, without reading this post, and thought about what a genius I was. Great idea. It would be certainly worthwhile and useful. I would like to see something like this implemented. |

| Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. for instance, earlier, i wanted to find the average high and low drug prices.. i've seen it on a thread here before, but i can't find it again for the life of me. | |

You can also goto google and search this way. Type in search bar this, in quotes, type what you want. "search" site:http://mafiareturns.com/comm I used this to find this topic. |

| Well, you already have the *ability* to search. What you're looking for is a tool to make it easier :p. I'll think about this. I'm not sure how much/little work it would be to "hack" it into the existig forum code, which is getting kind of sloppy. | |

| I always thought it would be a great idea to have some type of search for threads. Or even a way to find all threads by a particular person. Its not all that necessary, but would be nice to have. | |

| Would be nice.. but its not nessisary, anything that is relevent and or still discussed will be on the first page anywyas, and if its not its pretty easy to scan though all of the pages and find it | |

I like this idea, it would help me in finding things from the olden days (i.e. the list of all crewleaders I was searching for a couple weeks ago to prove a point). It would be a very nice feature. |
