Special News Bulletin - Return of the Purge!

Shocking events shook the world of our thing on the evening of Halloween, which was last night if you're not the religious type. Numerous prominent mobsters were gunned down without reason and without remorse. Among the dead were hands, made men, and even lowly wise guys. 

The SNB team has now uncovered exclusive evidence and testimony that indicates that these deaths were the result of an initial "purge" and attempted secondary purge under the premise of "returning fire." The first few deaths were attributed to purges of "1041" bad guys who were apparently plotting some evil deeds. More likely they were just sitting around being old as they usually do, but that isn't the point.

After the alleged 1041 plotters were killed, more mobsters were gunned down unceremoniously. "Presumably" concerned "leaders" immediately sent out witness statement requests and put on worried, upset, and even vengeful façades. They untruthfully attributed this second wave of purging to 1041 members conveniently returning fire at precise targets "the regime" did not trust. Several innocent, loyal, and honest mobsters were killed and their children and fellow members were immediately lied to about the reasons why.

Among the shameless purgers was one "Crow" of Las Vegas, who personally gunned down his own member Aberama and three minutes later sent a mass telegram asking for a witness to come forward. Unfortunately for this clown a witness saw him, and did indeed come forward. SNB can exclusively reveal this fact in the image attached to this article.

The proof is in the pudding, unless Crow is going to come out and profess to the world that the killer was in fact his long lost evil twin "Worc." That wouldn't be all that shocking for someone as shameless as this.

The question now lies with the other leaders that "lost" loyal members last night: Jimmy_Ligambi, MatteoDenaro, Allie, Furio, Jelly, DeadlySpike, and Madness. One of several things happened.

• They were aware of the purge, and allowed it to happen or actively assisted. This can be assumed true for the Princess of Snakes and known purgelords like Madness.
• They were not aware of the purge, their members were killed without their knowledge, and they either believed the lies they were fed or put their tail between their legs with the knowledge that if they didn't allow it, they would be next.

These are sad developments for our thing, when it had appeared that noble leaders like @Joe_Ligambi and DeadlySin would put a stop to purging after the previous regime was destroyed from within by their own allies, sick of the purging and paranoia. Alas, they are not as noble as they claimed to be and are very much under the thumb of the cult, just as the people before them. 

Sadly, as our thing continues to dwindle to record low activity levels, weak chinned leaders continue to allow their hard working members be lambs to the slaughter of the paranoid few who make the decisions. How our ancestors must be looking down on us now. This once proud world is now but a shell of it's former glory, utterly lacking any honor, honesty, or respect.

"How much will that be?", he quipped at the small, haggard boy on the newsstand.

"25 cents for you, senor", the urchin quipped back at him.
