Being a fan myself, I could talk about the game all day long - so if you're a fan too, I'm keen to hear what you have to say. Since MR is so diverse, I expect we'll have people from around the world with a shared love of the game, and that makes for some good insight, so tell me:

I support a local club called Frem

Its a workers club and a anti fascist club-

I never watch their games really, mainly due to being lazy and poor

My favorit thing about supporting them is the big fan base and loyalty

the best moment for Frem was when they achived getting into "superligaen" our best league.

they are doing really well this seasons and beat a superliga team in the pocal

-I support Ajax Amsterdam

-My dad brought me to the stadium as far as i can remember so dont know any better

-I used to go every match just not the European away days. Now with kids myself i can use the money on better stuff.
But will go with my son for the first time in a few weeks. Hope we have as much fun as i used to have in my younger years.

-The friendship i build over there with lots of people. Just having fun on a Sunday, drinking a few beers while watching the game.

-Ajax winning the CL in 1995 against AC Milan

-Getting better, last year we went really downhill with wrong purchases and the wrong people in charge. Now we are finally on the road back up again!

-Which team do you support? - Celtic

-Why do you support them? - Always have. 

-Do you get to go and watch them often? - Not very often, although catch almost every game between TV and 'streams'. 

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? - Being handsome. 

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? (Can be football/soccer related directly or just a story relative) - Probably walking out of the stadium after beating Man Utd in the Champions League, and everyone being confused about whether we'd qualified for the next round or not (there was some goal difference/head to head stuff which meant we had qualified but a lot of people hadn't realised). The game itself was a bit mad in the last 10 minutes then Saha missing a penalty.

Plenty of memories against a certain other team (Glasgow Derby) but I'm generally too anxious during those to really appreciate them lol

-Are your team currently living up to your hopes / expectations so far this season? - Exceeding. When did we learn how to win games in Europe again??

Ajax supporters are among the best I've seen. Likewsie Celtic - I think I went to the home leg at OT of that same game. Venegoor of Hesselink scored first but United won, I think??

I'll go:

-Which team do you support? Stockport County - English League One.

-Why do you support them? Because all my mates do, and it's where I'm from. I was raised supporting Man United and was a season ticket holder from the age of 17-19. I was a Stockport season ticket holder at the same time but United always trumped County. Not any more - I didn't renew, completely fell out of love with them and haven't been back since. This was shortly after Uncle Malc took over. Nowadays I couldn't tell you who plays for them. I switched allegiances, yes, but only at a time when I was still young and open-minded, there was a lot of glory with United and very little with County. I saw United at Wembley when I was 16 and at the age of 23 was watching County lose to Vauxhall Motors in the 7th tier.

-Do you get to go and watch them often? Yes, season ticket holder so all homes, and away fairly often. Have been to 6 aways so far this season.

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? The people, the identity, the community. I'm proud to support them, its a way of life, and my kids and family are getting in on supporting them too. The people in the stands are the people who make a football club.

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? (Can be football/soccer related directly or just a story relative) Winning promotion away at Nuneaton in 2019. We had 90% of the crowd, and I spent the last 10 minutes of the match watching by leaning on the post as the game was going on, before a full scale pitch invasion at full time. Thats when we knew we were on our way back. 2 more promotions have followed since.

-Are your team currently living up to your hopes / expectations so far this season? Yes, absolutely. We have dropped off a bit of late and got spanked 5-0 the other night. But 10th in League One? Delighted with that.

Yep, Man Utd beat us 3 - 2 at Old Trafford in the first game with JVoH (my cheat way of typing Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink) opening the scoring. 

That's mostly what led to all the confusion at full time when we won 1 - 0. We weren't really comparing ourselves to Man Utd as they were expected winners of the group, and Benfica were seen as the main competition for 2nd place (with Copenhagen expected to finish bottom). Beating them 1 - 0 meant we would be above Man Utd if it went to head to head due to away goals. With the group as it was, we were mathematically through as there was then no way for Benfica to catch us without pushing Man Utd down to being level on points with us so we'd be through either way. 

We then drew AC Milan, who put us out via a Kaka goal in extra time, before going on to win the tournament.

-Which team do you support? I support my local team. Have done since childhood  

-Why do you support them? I was born this way  

-Do you get to go and watch them often? About 10 to 15 times a season  

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? Watching them play scintillating attacking football and winning  

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? (Can be football/soccer related directly or just a story relative) Watching us win three trophies in one season. That remains memorable 

-Which team do you support? Liverpool FC

-Why do you support them? Born and breed scouser.

-Do you get to go and watch them often? Watch every game but get to Anfield about 10times a season

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? atmosphere and we have best songs to sing. Also style of play. 

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? Say the AC Milan final was great with that comeback then the double save by Dudek in extra time keep us in it then next can remember being in school and no lesson we just watched match again. The Spurs final was amazing after it with all the parting in concert square was crazy. but they we had them seasons with Suarez were something special probably greatest player seen play live.

-Why do you support them? Family from Glasgow

-Do you get to go and watch them often? Had a season ticket for many years then kids and work got in the way plus spending too much time in Glasgow so came away from it

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? We have a great support and traditions and we go into every game expecting to win

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? (Can be football/soccer related directly or just a story relative) The 2002/3 season on the way to Seville. Beating Blackburn away and drawing with Liverpool away (I was at both games) and although we never won the cup, being at the final and having the 5 days in Seville was a memory that will live long. Been to many Celtic/Rang*ers games over the years, intense and nerve racking but epic days out when on the winning side

-Are your team currently living up to your hopes / expectations so far this season? Had a great run in Europe, league is about done but hopefully we can get a couple of new players in during pre season to kick on again

'mon teh hoops'

Been a fan of several teams from different countries since I was a kid, and they’ve stuck with me, so this might be a bit weird.

Which team do you support? Local team, West Ham and Real Madrid 

-Why do you support them? Local team is just how it works, init? West Ham came when I was young, saw the GSH movies when I was a bit older and fell in love, Real Madrid has been with me since birth I think, used to be a massive Raúl fan back in the days.

-Do you get to go and watch them often? Local team, I try to get in as many matches I can during season, the rest, not unfortunately.

-What's your favourite thing about supporting your team? With all of them, there is this different but still home feeling, traditions and obviously the history, not to forget the atmosphere.

-Best moment / memory of your following your team? (Can be football/soccer related directly or just a story relative) Has to be Di Canio catching the ball against Everton in ‘99. Clean through on goal, keeper down injured, any striker would’ve buried it. But Paolo just picks the ball up, stops play, and points to the injured keeper. Fair play over glory. Madness, class, and pure Di Canio.
