Amira sat in her home office, looking out the window into the darkness of the LA night. The Family had been wounded. Loyal soldiers had made the ultimate sacrifice in the face of threats  both outside and within the organization. But wounded is far from dead, and she was determined to see the Family through this setback. LA was her home, and it had to remain strong. She needed someone she could trust to handle Pasadena, first. Someone who had proven themselves loyal through the war with Vegas and the attempted insurrection. In her view, Wyzguy was the obvious choice. He’d been a valued hand, and she was confident he was ready for this new role. She picked up the phone and dialed. 

“I need you in Pasadena. It's time to rebuild."

 Allie paced around her office, rehearsing in her head. She was no stranger to death or sorrow, but she knew it was part of the job when she signed up for it. Everyone knows the risks when they’re in this line of work, but knowing never makes it easier. The loss of Uncle Joe Ligambi, his dear nephew Jimmy and their many associates hit the country hard, and Allie knew that now more than ever she needed to be strong.

 Allie called for her assistant to bring her car around. She needed to head to the airport and reach out to Amira and let her know that she has the full backing of New York and all its resources at her disposal.
