Why won't he accept my duel? Why is Ronnie keeping him from this? Is the competiton committee ( abbreviated C.C.) behind this? Could that be who I'm working for? I'll never tell. Not even under torture.

Today I'm ashamed to call Gordon my colleague, but remain proud to have never called him a friend. 

Pathos you are not a man, but a mouse. I would accept your duel but I lack the gun given the recent beating I received at the hands of Ronnie for not bringing in enough HQ fortification funds.

Ronnie rules with a gentle touch, but this gentle touch can sometimes also turn into an iron fist when it connects with my stomach for disobedience.

Oh the humanity! Just when Gordon was starting to receive Ronnie’s velvet glove treatment instead of the iron fisted discipline he earned - yet repented for - he faces oblivion at the hands of an assassin’s gun? Will there be no end to the cruelty our fearsome gopher friend has to endure? I just thank the gods that the bullet intended for our resident rodent strayed from its intended course. Who else would be willing to rattle our HQ Fund collection tin? It’s almost as if you don’t care whether or not we live in squalor, Pathos.
