In a smoke filled room on Detroits East Side, 3 men sit at a table playing cards sipping their drinks. It's Thanksgiving day, first time the Thanksgiving game is broadcasted on tv. Man 1: Think the Lions will take it this year Billy? Billy: No way Vinny, Browns are definitely gonna win this one. Vinny: Cee note says otherwise, want some of this action Tommy? Staring at his cards for half a second before folding, "Nah, I'm not a gambling man anymore. Anyways lions will win this." Billy: Yeah yeah, we'll see. Ha full house! (Billy sets down the cards and rakes in the pot) Vinny: Dam, can't catch a cold in a rainstorm. Hey Billy, speaking of the Cleveland... Did you take care of that problem? Billy: Of course Vinny. No one seen nothing either so don't worry bout it. Tommy: We were never worried Billy. The men continue to enjoy their day. They watch the game, drinking, laughing, smoking and having a good time. They watched the game come to an end as Lions win 17 to Browns 16. Vinny: Haha pay up Billy! Billy: Dam, that was a close game. (He says as he lays 100 on the table) Tommy (stands up and walks towards the bathroom): Told ya Billy Billy (starts to shuffle cards): ya ya whatever. They got luck- *BOOM* Billy slumps onto the table as Tommy walks up and puts two more rounds into his head *BOOM* *BOOM* (Vinny stands up): Dam glad that's done, couldn't stand his yapping. (The men walk outside, a light snow is falling) Any plans Tommy? Tommy (lights up a cigarette): Gonna head over and see my family, starving after that. Vinny: Sounds good Tommy, sounds good. Ya know Tommy, I didn't care for Billy to much but sucks he had to get it. Tommy: Ya I don't even think about Vinny, an order is an order. And unfortunately we gotta take em until we can give em brother. The men embrace and part ways. They say there's no rest for the wicked. |
