I for one, always thought that the RHM should be one of the highest ranking members of the family and I've been against making thugs RHM as I believe it goes against the rank order and is a slap in the face for other people who have taken the time and effort to prove themselves within the family. That being said, I'm obviously not running my own family and the other leaders can do what they want within their own families, that's why they're the leaders.
But I've always thought it was odd taking orders from an RHM that I outranked by several ranks or taking a thug or gangster RHM seriously, especially if there are WGs or above in the family. Family lines aside, does death mean nothing in this world? Just because you were a Boss RHM before doesn't mean that you should start as a thug RHM and rush straight ahead of all the other members in the family. No real mafia family would ever work like that. Just because you're born someone's son or daughter doesn't mean you'll run the family--you have to prove yourself first. Bottom line is if you don't trust a WG in your family, why would you keep him around in the first place? Oh well, maybe I need to work on my attitude and read some more Zig Ziggler books or something. |
