The last few weeks had been a trial; but the trial had turned to a nightmare when Amira was given the news that her husband had been shot in the ongoing, bloody war. A fifteen minute ride to the hospital felt like a lifetime, with no word on whether he was alive or dead; but something in her heart told her that Joseph Ligambi was not done yet. He would live on to see the city he built continue to thrive- she would see to that. He would live to see his new little one, girl or boy, follow in their father's footsteps and honor his legacy. No matter what it took, Amira was determined to see these things come to pass.

In his fashion, Joe came back fighting; even faster than the doctors expected. So, it was not a huge surprise that one day, on a walk after visiting a filming with Amira at Top Job Studios, he set his eye on a deli that had been closed for a few weeks and decided to buy it. "I make a mean pie, what the hell?" he'd said. And with that, it was decided; Joe was back in his happy place- making dough.

With a loud squawk, the siren atop the battered old GhostBanishers car stopped wailing and the balding wheels squealed, skidding, causing a plume of rubbery smoke to rise from the cars undercarriage, finally stopping on a film set of sorts, and a troupe of young men stepped out, adorned in beige coveralls.

Don’t worry folks, there’s nothing to worry about - these spirits aren’t malevolent for the most part, usually just too incompetent to realise their haunting is a futile attempt at clinging onto a word that has roundly rejected them.

We find that a seance is usually the most effective way of making the spirit realise that there is nothing left for the spirit here, so there’s normally no need for any violent methods of capture - unless the ghost is exceptionally inept.

It’s actually quite sad, but the ceremony is a celebration that their life has ended, so it can be a happy occasion too, ironically.
