GAILS HIT THE WINDY CITY

Within the week following JesseJames passing. Chicago had seen PizzaTheHut ascend to helm of city-leader, former RHM to the godfather EveValon joined the fold as a crewleader. PizzaTheHut’s callings proved to be elsewhere and the shores of Tampa were much more attractive to his eyes than the shores of Lake Michigan. Long story short - PizzaTheHut retired, leaving EveValon and longtime leader Monet alone to content to the future of Chicago. Hours after PizzaTheHut’s departure, a lone and bullet whistles through the air, narrowing missing Monet. Eve’s failed attempt ushered in retaliation from elements of the New York, New Orleans and some factions of the Las Vegas Cosa Nostra along with Monet’s family and personal vanguard. Slab, LHM to Monet, was given the nod to setup to expedite a victory. Several lives were in claimed during the hostilities notability EveValon herself and Don Sneaker, a respected member of the New Orlean’s based Pontchartrain Lakeshore Resort. After the dust settled Monet claimed the reins to the city and remains the leader of Chicago.
Our condolences to the fallen and congratulations to Slab.
LAS VEGAS: FINISCE BORGATA e’ CIAO ANIMALE

Sin City wasn’t without it’s excitement and tears since the last issue. Consigliere crewleader Jammin was gun down by fellow crewleader PhantomMenace. DISCLAIMER: Rumormill Alert: The late Jammin allegedly had plans for the gem of the Mohave’ that didn’t include PhantomMenace. END Rumormill. No official statement has been released by a generous protection order was announced on behalf of the surviving Borgata members.
In an unrelated incident, Animal, whom many considered the de-facto head of Las Vegas, found himself on the wrong side of a fatal gun malfunction. He is the third individual within the past two weeks to have passed in this manner. His death comes after news of his move and claim for the vacant St. Louis. Animal’s RHM Betsy_Poke has taken the helm and now leads the Las Vegas Muppets.
We offer our condolences to those who have passed and congratulations to Betsy_Poke. Salut
MOTOR CITY

Detroit has been vacant since the takedown that claimed the levels of AlabamaWorley, EvilClown, JessicaRabbit and their respective families. Days ago, Stamina announced that Detroit’s doors would be opening once again, hosting crew leaders from the established families of Chicago, New Orleans, Las Vegas, New York and Philadelphia.
So far: Batman from Las Vegas, Clyde from New Orleans and LargeHampster from Philadelphia have arrived and settled into Motor City.
SPOILER ALERT: Plans have been set aside for Los Angeles, but will remain closed for the foreseeable future as we see other cities grow in size first.
CREW LEADER SPOTLIGHT
STAMINA
Sal_Giaquinto: Mr. Stamina, thank you for joining us again and granting us some of your precise time for another interview. Last time my predecessor spoke with you – you had reached the zenith of godfather. Since then a lot has obviously happened. Do you care to comment on the current climate?
Stamina: Well Sal_Giaquinto, thanks for having me. Since reaching Godfather of New Orleans, much has indeed changed. Even more since when you asked me your first question infact! Times are very different than they were, we have seen Chiacgo reduced to two crews. They also lost their Godfather JesseJames in an unconventional incident, and then city head PizzaTheHut stepping down left them in a bit of a pickle. Monet has been left to pick up the pieces and I would like to think she can be the steady hand to guide them back in the right general direction.
Sal_Giaquinto: Years from now when we’re all but dust and bones – how do you envision yourself and your organization being remembered?
Stamina: I would like to mainly concentrate on where we're at right now, rather than looking too far into the future and taking our eye off the ball. We have a job to do right now in rebuilding, that is where my emphasis is.
Sal_Giaquinto : In my latest interview with Sinfest, I asked him whose leadership style he’d like to adopt and he said it was yours. I’d continue with that theme. You’ve obviously been a very successful leader cultivating some fine people in your city and more recently spreading some of those seeds to Philly. Who or what has influenced/inspired you the most, in light of your achievements?
Stamina: Maybe Sinfest was trying to flatter me a little here. I will go back to the time of my grandfather when he was working in New York as a leader. He took on the role under the watch of Caveman and TheDean, shortly followed by Whatsername picking him out as city underboss. Looking back, he had no vast experience but the people around him placed enough trust in him to see that he progressed nicely within the city. I show faith in the members we have and reward people for hard work. People expecting an easy ride because of past glory will find themselves disappointed if they believe they won't have to work for anything.
Sal_Giaquinto: Presently as the only reigning godfather (considering someone doesn’t get it before this issue is released), what direction would you like to see the eight cities go into?
Stamina: I haven't made any secret of the fact that I would like to see other cities populated at some point. This may not be straight away though, I see a few of the cities we have open are less than bulging at the seams. Growth is the key to our success, growth is good for business and I know that we're all in game to make some cash.

PoisonousJelly: Well Monet, I know you have already been interviewed for the Tradizione recently but let's be honest... That interview really wasn't that interesting and a lot of stuff has happened with in that short time.
PoisonousJelly: Shall we get right to it?
Monet: Haha, let's do it.
PoisonousJelly: Fantastic. First and foremost, congratulations on your recent success in taking charge of Chicago. I'm sure you are happy of your achievements?
Monet: Although they came at a great cost that I wish could have been avoided, I am pleased.
PoisonousJelly: Good to hear Don Monet. It seems everything comes with a price in this day and age. Maybe we are coming out of the recession better than expected.
PoisonousJelly: How do you feel about the death of JesseJames? Has it hit you hard or did it just fly by you in the winds of the Windy City considering the circumstances of how it happened?
Monet: No, I was definitely shocked when I saw that JJ died. He has been a friend of mine for a long time and I was happy to work under him. I'll miss him greatly.
PoisonousJelly: Even though this person shot at your most trusted friend and family member being your RHM?
Monet: Yes, it is unfortunate that he was shooting at my RH but he was doing what he thought was best. I'm incredibly happy that I still have Raptor by my side.
PoisonousJelly: How so? How was shooting at your RHM something that could be considered as a good decision?
Monet: Never said it was a good decision, but he was my Godfather.
PoisonousJelly: Fair point Don Monet.
PoisonousJelly: I'm sure it felt like something was about to rip through your stomach at the news of what happened. Did you then not consider shooting his whole family, Eve included? Considering the path JesseJames chose to take and the what should have been obvious decision of his suriving members to seek revenge?
Monet: The thought literally never crossed my mind.
Monet: They were still part of Chicago.
PoisonousJelly: Really? I thought it would have been obvious considering what had happened. Anyone loyal, which is what we can only hope for people to be these days, should have had revenge on their minds no matter how directly or indirectly yourself and Raptor were at fault for JesseJames death.
Monet: I'm not really sure revenge was on anyone's mind really.
PoisonousJelly: Ok, we'll come back to that as I am not quite finished on the JesseJames part of the interview as yet. My next question is...
PoisonousJelly: Did you have any prior warning about what was to happen? Like, where there any previous arguements between your RHM Raptor and the heirarchy of JesseJames family that could have led to the decision of taking a shot on Raptor?
Monet: I was aware of some disagreements but I wasn't aware of what JJ was going to do.
PoisonousJelly: Do you think that these disagreements warranted the need to take a shot on Raptor?
Monet: At the end of the day, the decision is that of the Godfather. JesseJames did what he thought was right.
PoisonousJelly: Yes, and I agree, but if possible and with respect Don Monet... I would like your opinion.
Monet: My opinion is I respected my Godfather.
PoisonousJelly: Ok ok, I get the idea and it is respectable. Even after his actions to still hold true to respect. It's not something you see alot these days.
PoisonousJelly: So, to summarise the events that happened in the days after JesseJames death... EveValon was given permission to set up her own crew by you and it was accepted that PizzaTheHut was to take control of Chicago as Underboss. However, PizzaTheHut then suicided leaving the Head Of Chicago position in dismay. EveValon thought it should be her and you Monet, thought it should be you. Is that correct?
Monet: No, I would have been happy to talk it out but Eve decided to take it by force. To which of course, I had to retaliate.
PoisonousJelly: Ofcourse, and as you may or may not have heard when you were talking in the streets... I completely agree and respect that decision. It's been a long time sinse something like that has happened in our streets.
PoisonousJelly: What led to the decision of taking down Eve? Why did other cities get involved? Was she declared Rogue by the remaining figure heads?
Monet: Her reasons were rather unjustified and rash which lead to the other cities seeing that she was a significant target in our world.
PoisonousJelly: So she was in essence, declared a rogue leader?
Monet: Technically yes, however being her own CL, she did what she thought was necessary, even if it seemed unjustified.
PoisonousJelly: Understandable. What was the last straw? The breaking point that led to her members and eventually her own death?
Monet: Her making an attempt to end my life.
PoisonousJelly: Heh, Can honestly say that would be enough for anyone to break off ties and destroy the assailant.
PoisonousJelly: Why did you not destroy her when JesseJames failed his shot and died after his attempt on Raptor? It was obvious, atleast in my own opinion, that Eve would not let that rest. Which is proven by the fact that she attempted to kill both you and Raptor only days later. What is the reasoning behind that?
Monet: She was still part of Chicago and Eve didn't make the decision to try to kill Raptor. She seemed like she had no problem to continue to work together and help Chicago over come this hurdle.
PoisonousJelly: However, behind the scenes was a different story. Was this scenario even considered on your part before that faithfull day?
Monet: Which scenario exactly?
PoisonousJelly: Of Eve wanting revenge or power of the city.
Monet: No, as I said, I thought she still wanted to work together in Chicago.
PoisonousJelly: Ok. Don Monet... Thank you for taking the time and the decency to actually answer my questions. I apologise if any of them were to forward or uncomfortable for you to answer considering the freshness of the events we attempted to cover in the interview.
Monet: My pleasure, it's better that questions are asked than said behind closed doors.
PoisonousJelly: Before we go. Can you tell me the code for Raptor's safe? That bastard has hidden his hubcaps from me for far to long. Also, can you tell him I said 2-0? He'll know what it means.
Monet: I will do, and I definitely can't tell you! No hubcaps for you dirty Scouser!!

PEOPLE AND POWER...

Have you ever come across someone before they reach power? Possibly became friends with them and then BAM they appear in bold or slanty?
Now think about that person and how they were before they reached their power position? Have they changed? Became someone with more of an ego then they should? If you said yes don't worry this has started to become more common.
Those with power seem to all of a sudden deem themselves better than everyone else. Maybe they are in some areas but I really doubt they are perfect so why the high horse? Why do they feel the need to attempt to abuse their power on people that have never done them wrong? Those that were classified friends but all of a sudden these power people deem unworthy. Do they think if they didn't have the support of some people that they would last too long?
So why do we allow the power trippers to remain? Is it their gun? It can't be their oh so charming personality when they become so self-important that they can't see past themselves.
Just food for thought really.

THE WACK BACK SAGA

Let's firstly start this off with a rest in peace. Three highly ranked and respected men have been taken from us over the past couple of weeks from un-expected weapon malfunctions. It is such a shame and something that still shocks us to the very core of our beings each time it happens. Even though, and let's be honest here... We all sometimes wish that high ranking members of our world would sometimes die un-expectedly. It brings excitement and un-certainty. Something which we all bitch, cry and moan for after long periods of stagnation and then bitch, cry and moan some more when our lives are at risk. Anyway, I stray from the point...
Does no one else here not think there is more to this than pure coincidence? Has no one else stopped to smell the shoe polish? (roses are so over rated) No less than THREE of this country’s best and brightest have died in the space of two weeks. All from the same unfortunate accident, the dreaded wack back.
Well, I did. I stopped to smell the shoe polish. I stopped and realized there has to be more to this than meets the eye. So, on everyone’s behalf I went out and did a bit of investigating.
So, as any connected mobster would know, two of the deceased are from Chicago. As easy a place as any to start. First I had to meet up with some contacts I have over in Chicago. Friends get you places you see and if you don't realise that you're an idiot. Right, so anyway. All these fatal accidents had one thing in common. They were all pistol malfunctions that caused the bullet to somehow fly backwards out the gun and in to the assailant rather than the victim. (Can anyone explain how that's humanly possible for me please?)
After having Officer EmmanualReynolds hook me up with a Corrupt Officer from Chicago I managed to get my hand on the weapon found at the scene of Godfather JesseJames murder. It was just a normal pistol. Expensive but normal none the less. It looked like it was well cleaned, used and maintained. It was then I had a look at the butt of the pistol to find 'Macs Armoury'
This was almost too easy. All I had to do was make a connection to the other two now. However, on reaching Macs Armoury I discovered a derelict building. Covered in dust and graffiti about some random shit. "Plumb-errs waz ere 1929" it said. It was boarded up to feck and looked like no one had been home for atleast a year. It looked like I was gonna have to try something else when I slapped myself on the fore head and thought "Duh... You're a criminal!" With that, I broke in to the store. It was more or less in ok shape apart from the missing weapons of course. Sitting right there, by the old dusty cash register was just what I needed. The receipt book.
I searched pages and pages before finding JesseJames name. The correct one atleast... Apparently his family line liked buying guns from this fella. Sure they would have learned. Moving forward from that I found my connection. Wacktard bought a very similar if not identical pistol from this store a short while after JesseJames. The bastard who owned this store must have sold faulty goods. No wonder he left in a hurry, maybe someone else was on to him. This doesn't explain Animal though does it? I knew he had frequent visits to Chicago but his name was nowhere to be seen.
Having found the connection I made my way back to Las Vegas and our new Headquarters. Making my way to the bar there I noticed Betsy_Poke, Once Animal's RHW and now the new leader of the Muppets. We were getting pretty drunk when my days adventure came up and I mentioned Macs Armoury. As soon as I did Betsy's eyes lit up and she confided something in me which I plan to share.
"Oh that place!! I heard they sold faulty guns there and that its owner was due to 'disappear' so I hurried on down there and bought one for Animal's birthday present"
So in short... These wack backs were no mere coincidence. It was not just plain old bad luck. It was a dodgy shop keep who now sleeps with some of his favorite fish while rolled up in his favorite rug. In future I find it prudent that anyone who owns a gun from Macs Armoury in Chicago or has come in to ownership of one. REPLACE IT.
Unless your name is Dutch_Man. Then by all means, use it 100 times a day.

STEALTH: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE MULLET

Do you have the drive to be stealing hard earned cash out of strangers' pockets? Do you have the desire to shoot bodyguards down in cold blood? These are just a few questions that have been circulating through the grapevine of our community. Like everyone we all have our own drives and goals in our day to day tasks.
If you are like my bloodline you can remember back in time to a day where stealthily walking around emptying mafioso's pockets or shooting down their BGs in cold blood was not common practice at all. Through the sands of time this world has evolved into something we see today. Many people have many different views and opinions on our stealthy ways today; some may say it's too hard to catch these shadow-lurking killers and robbers.
Other people in this community may have come to the conclusion that these villains are actually helping balance the community. I did an interview with a mafioso who wishes to remain anonymous for this discussion; they exclaimed the love for these ladies and gentleman as they are helping keep the limelight away from the people who want to eventually make something of themselves!
With many of these different views in play it falls upon ourselves, as individuals, to decide which role we will play or which side of the fence we shall be on. For a newcomer, right off the boat, it might be a culture shock coming to the United States. They may not know where to start! The shadows can be a good friend to those who are still wanting to learn the ropes. Stepping onto these shores with a legacy to follow, and the grave of a relative to tend may give you an incentive to begin skulking in the shadows. These ways of living are looked down upon in our community if used for malicious purposes, and for good reason. The ability to protect oneself and his/her family will always be our priority, afterall. This way of living has become a huge part of what this world is today, how we react to it is down to us.

WAR IN OUR STREETS:

Today saw the start of a war between the families of Merciless Soldier and Iron Curtain. At times such as this, rumors will abound.
Merciless Soldier earlier published the following statement of his intent:
So I go to sleep, and wake up to see IronCurtain in my city, when non allied crewleaders are not supposed to be in Vegas. Why did he fly here? To take a potshot at me as I slept.
I call him on the phone, ask him why a friend of mine would cross me so. He claims never a friend and tells a tale of how I authed a shot at Turi. But that makes no sense. Why would I auth a shot at my dear friend Turi? Believe me, there are crewleaders I would like to see die, even before this night but Turi I always held in the highest regard.
Rumor is that I authed BennyNoodles to go rogue and kill everything. People have not done their homework. BennyNoodles was CampusBoss’s left hand man until CampusBoss’s right hand man tricked him into going rogue and shooting at me, that’s right folks, he shot at me. I worked it out with campus and Benny so that Benny could live. I show mercy and for this my members die?
Being double-crossed by someone I always considered a friend is truly painful… Having been shot at him pains me. My members and his falling either due to this misunderstanding or deceit and military propaganda to make a good reason to take me out.
Whatever it is, stay tuned. We will fight until HOPEFULLY the people behind this come to their senses about what has happened. But if not, we will go to the last man….
However, Iron Curtain countered with the following:
There comes a point when enough is enough and you have to take action. Myself along with many others are fed up with the poor attitude and bad leadership skills of Merciless Soldier.
Many people have approached me about wanting to leave his crew but cant because of his power-obsessed rules. It has driven many people to the edge of suicide. His policy on wacking is terrible and he often takes no action against his members when requested to. And of course, there is also his Mafia take-over master plan involving authing all his friends and placing them in each city.
By going after Merciless and his crew, i am fighting on behalf of the many others who do not like him. I am asking anyone else who feels the same to join me and fight against him.
In response to the war, the cities of LA and NO have been locked down tightly. At this time we don’t know when those locks will be lifted, but rest assured you will be kept abreast of the situation.
