Does anyone have a SATA to USB Adapter? I'm looking to pick one, as my I need to scavenge some files off of an old hard drive. I've looked at several on Amazon, but getting some sketchy reviews. I don't want to risk burning the HDD and losing the files I'd like to recover.
Any recommendations? |

I use an Icybox SATA enclosure, uses eSATA and USB. Never had any problems with it, using multiple drives. Also got a cheap (really cheap) 2.5" IDE enclosure which I can't remember the name, never had any problems with this either. |

I took the risks and went with something off I found on Amazon. It had decent reviews (some bad, mostly good)
It did the trick. :o) |
