It was 23:00 when I was awoken from my sleep. The phone was ringing, over and over and over again. I fell out of bed, stumbled to my feet, and ran to the phone. I answered the phone with a pant.

"I WAS ASLEEP!" "WAKE YOUR ASS UP AND GET OVER HERE!" "WHERE?!" "DETROIT, SMART GUY!" "WHAT TIME IS IT?" "You got an hour hurry up!"

I slammed the phone down on the receiver and spun around facing the general direction of the bedroom.

"Mary! WAKE UP! WE'RE LATE!"

The phone rang again....

"Who is it?!" "Bro, where you at?" "I'm on my way!"

I slammed the phone down on the receiver again before running off into the bedroom to help pack. Several minutes later, bags ready, we made our way to the door. Ring Ring...

"I'm on my way!!!" SLAM!

The bags were in the car and we were ready to leave to the airport when I remembered. Rushing into the house I pick up the ringing phone, slam it, and pick it up again. I dial Dominic.

"Dominic, where are you?" "Sleeping." "Meet me in Detroit in less than an hour. Time to shine." "I'll be there." "See you there. Call Ace. Make sure he's up and get him there." "Alright bye."

..........

It was 0:00 on the dot as we met up in Detroit at the 3 story tall building that would become our new home. I turned around to face the street and any passers-by.

"Greetings everyone! I'd like to take the time to say thank you to my CL Monet for allowing me this grand opportunity! I'd also like to send out my greetings and love to my entire fellow Detroit city AUTHs and special hugs and kisses to Raptor for being a good sport. Without further ado, I'd like to introduce my Right Hand Woman, -Mary_Jane, My Left Hand Men, Inferno-ace and Dominic, and lastly, my family, The Motown Superfreaks, the last addition to the Detroit Family."

I light up a joint, snort, and chuckle while grinning from ear to ear.

Technical writes a note to RickJames and had one of his members put it in his mailbox.

RickJames its glad you finally made it to Detroit. I look forward to working with you in the future. I would like to offer my congratulations on becoming a crewleader and wish you the best of luck.

Standing up as he applauds loudly, Dominic smiles as he waves to the crowd.

Congratulations Rick! Our families, along with Mary Jane's have known each other now for many generations and I must say I am honored to have been given this opportunity to work together for the good of Detroit along with the other fine families that have taken residence there.

The wait was definitely worth it!

Dominic opens a bottle of champagne and start passing out glasses to the crowd as he smiles cheerfully.
