Quasimodo in recent days had really begun to understand this place a little bit more. He began to branch out a bit more and talk to more people as time allowed and in doing so was learning quit a lot about this place and the wonderful personalities that reside here. As he met new faces and made new accquaintances, it brought to mind a question one asked of him.

I like to talk about a great many things. More than that I like asking questions. I want to be able to listen. I want to understand the world around me and the people in it. This can only be achieved by listening often, so I always have time to lend an ear.

The topics of conversation we have can definitely tell what we are interested in, and this is a good way to find out what we really enjoy in life. Most of the time, we are not even aware of this. A good way to figure out what you like to talk about if you don’t already know is to ask a friend. Ask them what they believe you like to talk about the most. Ask them what topic makes your eyes brighten up, and changes your entire behavior. I can guarantee you that some of their answers will be a bit of a surprise. Some of these things weren’t that clear to you, but your friends can see the reaction on your face that you can’t see yourself. Asking those who know you best is a very insightful exercise, and can certainly direct you a bit closer to figuring out that special part of who you are.

Take a moment if you have one or two to spare. Find out what it is that bubbles you up and really gets you excited to discuss.

What do you like to talk about?

Sneaker ponders this question and has no clue how to answer it. She calls the one person who can. The response was obvious.

Word on the street is that I am a topic twister. I am told that I take events, news events, and "warp" them. She was right. I like to take a news event and spin my own take on it.

Emilio thinks a moment, then goes to speak, and thinks again.  This goes on a couple times until he finally figures it out, so he thinks

Well, I'd ask some of my friends, but being as they aren't availible, or simply I have forgotten their number at the moment I'll answer this to the best of my knowledge of myself

Things I like to talk about eh?  Well I'd have to say I like talking in general.  Always open for a good chat, and even a bad one.  I like to talk about my theories as well as my friends, or simply how the day has gone.  If anything worth mention has happened I could talk for long periods of time about it with them.  But I say the thing that gets me going the most is definatly theoretical questions.  The more theoretical the better in my opinion.  I also enjnoy talking about games that are popular between my group of friends at the time, be it board games or otherwise, always a good chat there.  Thats all I can think of at the moment, maybe later when I have gathered the opinions of my friend I will have a better insight.

I generally only comment on the social issues of our great cities. Usually its because thats all I really care about. Our thoughts, comments, and exchanges with one another are what make this world tick. But as of late, Ive had a grand desire to discuss the finer points of stealing from police officers. Such a thrill in lifting the wallet from an unexpecting cop. Generally you dont find much, but its not the cash we really want is? Its the thrill of the hunt, the selection of the target, and the end game of having stole from an officer!

I find myself pretty similar to Emilio with this one.

I spend the vast majority of my day talking (that won't shock many), whether thats conversing out here in the streets, with family in the HQ or even sending secret correspondance by courier.

I'll literally talk about anything really, recent events, historical events and possibly future events that are in planning. Like Riggins said, the interactions between people in this thing of ours is what makes it tick, the more people you interact with the more likely you are to find some form of enjoyment in the life we have.

I havn't asked my friends what they think I like to talk about, not sure if i'm brave enough for that.

As quasimodo listened on to Sneaker, he had no idea who the one person she spoke of was, but was quite curious to know more. Afterall, curiosity was in his nature, as were most things.

It sounds to me Sneaker, as though you've begun the wonderful journey of exploring the endless possibilities. But, i don't know if it quite speaks to the question. The retelling of a story, in whatever manner, is only a retelling of a story. While this may be something you frequent, as a journalist or a writer, Ask Yourself if the retelling of these stories is your truest passion, or if what you truely wish to speak about, lays dormant, waiting for the moment where you feel most intrigued to speak of it. If the answer you arrive at differs, then perhaps you've still room to explore.

Either way, you've begun the thought process already, and that in itself, the half the battle

Emilo my friend, if i may call you as such, You certainly lit up with your answer. In you i see a great fire, burning with the flame of inspiration and eccenctricity, both qualities befitting a person of great wisdom.

I find in what you write, most relation to the likening of theoretical questions. Someone once said that "If the highest things in life are unknowable, then the highest capacity or virtue of a man can not be theoretical wisdom." While a noble consideration, i kindly disagree because as you state theoretical questions allow for endless possibility. Combine this with the experience of life in any state, and you have the working of something great.

Many great people have arrived at that crossroad of I don't know it, so it can't be and pushed past it to find that the earth is not in fact flat(Mr. Columbus), there are worlds beyond our own (Edwin Hubble), or that energy is equal to mass times the speed of light squared, (Mr. E)

Continue to find pleasure and inspiration in questions of theory Mr Soldati. It is there where dreams are born, and carried out by men of will and passion!

In my own way, it does express what I like to talk about. Current events. While I mentioned spinning, I also debate them as well. I take a cynical prespective on many things. If anything, what I gave was an incomplete answer.

According to my friends I guess I spend way too much time discussing the male reproductive organ. They all seem worried but I think it's just a stage I'm going through.

Z takes a few steps away from the corner, joking, and turns back around.

In all seriousness though, I like to talk about a wide variety of things. I am constantly jibber jabbering in the coffee shops. I think good communication skills are required in our line of work. You need to know people to get anywhere in this world, and you aren't ever going to meet anybody if all you do is sit in the corner table at the bar and drink until you wake up the next morning with a Thailand drag queen whore in bed with you.

So, with that being said, I have a corner seat at the local bar waiting for me, if anybody feels like chatting just drop me a line!
