Danny was adjusting to Detroit since coming from LA a big difference compared to the west coast definitely the weather it's been snowy and cold he was hitting some side hustle since he got here finally able to afford a nice little apartment on 15th Street Danny was sitting in his kitchen when the phone rang ,Walking over he grab's the phone off the wall "Hello? Alright I'll be there in 10 minutes Danny hang's up the phone, grabbing his winter jacket off the chair in the kitchen,He slides his arms into the coat buttoning it up as he made his way down the hallway pulling out his car key's ,stepping outside of the apartment entrance He pull's out a cigar with a gold zippo ,flicking open the zippo Danny lights the end of the cigar before flickin shut the zippo as he walk's over to the Cadillac,unlocking the door he slides in before pulling off he drove two block's to a bar alley located on 18th avenue,turning off the car Danny step's out of his car closing the door behind him ,taking a drag off his cigar before he walked into the bar "Ayyyy Danny boy perfect timing I was about to head out Jelly stand's there with a big smile on his face holding a envelope he made his way over to Danny kissing his cheek as Danny did the same to Jelly cheek "I'm glad you came to Detroit Danny Welcome to Motor city I got to go take care of some thing's but I got this for you ,Jelly places the envelope into Danny's hand as they exchanged a hug before Jelly Walk's out of the bar Danny open's up the envelope taking a quick look before closing it ,he slides the envelope into his coat pocket before he spotted a man sitting at the bar Danny Walk's up to the man as he stood up holding his hand out to Danny "Pleasure to meet you I'm Danny Greene The man grips Danny's hand with a firm shake "Nice to meet you I'm Giacomo Pairsi my friends call me Wyzguy would you like to take a seat discuss some things ,Danny nod's as he unbuttons his jacket as they sat down at the bar Wyzguy grab's his glass of bourbon Danny places his cigar onto the rim of the ashtray "You from around here Wyzguy I just got to Detroit coming out from LA Danny paused for a moment to wave over the bartender as he turned to order a glass of whiskey everything went silent for a moment as blood splatter's onto Danny's face couple gun shots rang out Screams filled the room as Wyzguy was shot in the back he slumped forward against the bar before his body fell onto the floor Danny pushes off the counter making a run for it out the backdoor as a man stood over Wyzguy firing two more shots into his chest ,Busting out the backdoor Danny wipes the blood off his face using his jacket sleeve he gets into his Cadillac breathing heavy while fumbling for his car keys before he started the car and speeds off |
