Danny pull's his Cadillac to the curb on church street turning off his car he step's out making his way across the seat a car honk's their horn and a voice spoke out "ayy Danny boy You did it Realizing the voice Danny turn's around seeing Micky parking his car he approaches Micky as he was stepping out his car they exchanged hug's as Micky kissed Danny's cheek while patting his shoulder's "Thank's Micky means a lot it's our time to shine "Glad they opened the book's for ya you deserve it Danny Boy Danny look's back across the street "Follow me Micky want to show you something,Danny starts walking across the street as Micky followed behind him as Danny reached into his slack's pulling out a set of key's approaching the florist Shop He unlock's the door "I bought this shop for a good price always wanted a store to run here in Detroit They walked into the shop Micky closes the door behind them he follows Danny into the back room "Here I figured we can run a nice racket here bring in some extra money for the family "What kind of ideas you have Danny "I'm thinking once I get everything set up and going maybe loansharking or sports bet's Danny lean's against a table in the back room as he reaches into his jacket pulling out a cigar with a zippo sparking the zippo he lit the cigar "Everyone in this life like's betting I figured horse betting boxing anything we can get our hands on "Sound's good Danny sure it would be a good bit of income Micky look's down at his watch before looking back up "I gotta go take care of some things Danny call me if you need anything He walk's over to Danny kissing his cheek with a hug "I'll see you around Micky be careful Micky walks out of the back room as Danny look's around the room smiling thinking to his self this will be a beautiful start to his Journey |
