Well, this is a fucking bummer. Let me give my opinion publicly then:

I think Ligambi must be a competent leader, but just because SpikeS leads for him. Everyone knows he does whatever Spike says and Spike is a very competent (AND MEAN) leader.

So my answer is YES.

I appreciate your input Maledetta, and the opportunity it gives me to segue seamlessly onto more of our market research findings.

How much did he pay Spike this time?

It’s a valid question, and one I don’t have the answer to, sadly. I am aware that old incompetent Joe brags of the amount of bearer bonds he possesses - 30k, for those interested, and he considers cash on hand in excess of 100million to be chicken feed. It’s little wonder Spike and his cohorts deem propping up Joke to be a worthwhile grift. Perhaps one of the two men in question would be willing to divulge what it costs to buy a regime these days?

He isn’t even liked by the regime. He is there to fund them.

This would explain the lack of assistance provided for the now infamous ‘Vegas removal’ debacle. Why bother helping when you know you’ll get a fat envelope either way? It’s far safer to send one of your sacrificial lambs - hoping to make a name for themself - out to do the dangerous, dirty work of a failed slaughter. No matter how much money is gifted, however, Ligambi will always be on the periphery; kept at arms length - close enough to request funding, but never close enough to make the serious decisions… the sad thing is, I doubt the old man realises this fact yet.

The quicker he realizes he’s just the deep pockets of a regime who laughs behind his back the better he’ll be. He couldn’t war himself out of a greasy fast food bag.

This seems to be an opinion shared widely, and one we are unable to contest from our research. There are those who sit in the old country churning out orders via telegrams - still trying to have specific bloodlines abandon our shores, and there are those who churn out money and cannon fodder crews for removal at a later date… I won’t say which Joe is, but it’s not the same as Spike or the JTG line.

I heard Joe tells people close to him that he has reached the status of icon on these shores.

This needs very little said about it to be honest. Anyone with any sense can see sleepy Joe is just the face to an organisation that needs cash. He’s merely the funding enabling a regime that’s like a skid mark on the bowl of our thing. Despite numerous assassins wreaking havoc on the six cities, to believe you’re considered an “icon” is little short of delusional. And speaking of delusional…

In what is likely to be the final update regarding my market research, I shall address my anonymous contributor’s response as promised. To ensure anonymity, I shall be paraphrasing: -

Joe is a good leader in many ways, he is charismatic, charming and inspirational - whilst you’re on the in. When something opens your eyes to the scale of cuntery he’s involved in, and the two faced nature of how he operates, you realise how manipulative he really is, and how desperate he is to cling onto power.

He has no real interest in protecting those loyal to him, he acts like those under him are his best friend and will freeze out anyone he suspects of not being completely loyal to his operation until he has concluded his investigation. He will relentlessly hunt down written evidence of betrayal, whilst never committing anything to writing himself.

The labelling of the greater Ligambi crews as incompetent is also unfair, as many of those loyal to the brand are good folks who don’t realise they’re being manipulated, until it happens to them. The dark side is hidden from the good ones, under the guise of necessity to protect the legacy. The greater regime, however, is acutely aware.
