I use an iphone 3gs and its like playing on safari or firefox.

drop downs work fine, the only time you have a problem is if you click the wrong drop down.

I play from my iPhone 4 a whole lot, and like Romeo said so long as I have a 3G signal it's just like playing from a laptop. I've never exceeded my 1 GB limit while playing in this fashion, as well as browsing other sites and abusing the Facebook app. However, you can also plug your iPhone into you're laptop and use it as a wireless modem, but that does spank my data allowance if I use it too often but gives me broadband-like speeds :)
