Money was flourishing...

Kanye had been working hard lately, and keeping himself busy. He recently opened his record label company in New York, but it wasn't getting much business yet. Luckily, that was only something on a side. The mafia life was his true calling.

His family had been working in the mafia for years... As Kanye grew up, he witnessed a lot of his uncles, cousins, and grandparents die from this life. His father, more recently, was killed when he tried to retire from this mafia life. 

Times were tough, and this life of crime became a necessity for Kanye. He did small crimes, and was finally noticed by his former sponsor Sammich. After continuing to work hard, Kanye was promoted to Made Man, and was now officially a part of not only his family, but a part of New York as well.

He never thought he would live the same life as his other family members, but now he's in it for life. However, this is not a bad thing. This is what Kanye has been dreaming of.

"I gotta do whatever it takes to help my family, and the city of New York!" Kanye said this to himself everyday, to spark some motivation.

New York shelters him, and provides him with everything he needs. The least he could do is give back, in any way possible.

Was this the end of his journey as a Mafioso? Now that he was officially a Made Man in the family, does this mean he's satisfied? 

Nope.

His life is for New York, and he will continue to work hard, and help ensure the city is successful and strong. Being a Made Man is just the first step. The journey is not over for him, it has only just begun...

Love the ambition and the loyalty. Getting your button should be treated like this. You have been accepted into a respectable family as a made member. You know what that means? You have to die for them as they will die for you. An amazing honor and it is great to see a new face respect and appreciate this promotion as it should be. Age & the amount of drugs you sell should not alone warrant becoming a made man. Value this promotion and work hard for your family so one day you can die for them because the greatest honors a mafioso can provide to his family.. his honor and his life.

To comment on your speech, it will never be enough. I have went through the ranks twice now and I am never satisfied by what this life of greed has to offer. However, I wonder, if that is nothing more than the nature of the business we are in?
