| An Open Letter to Grin-24 | Started by: Street_Leader on Jan 03, '25 13:55 |

Well, Grin-24, in between slandering and insulting WhyIsTheToaster, you smarmily noted that I looked "familiar" - yeah, we all know the story. My father, Leader, was conned into accepting a duel, a duel in which he died. But what people might not know is the background to that duel. See, Leader wanted more than anything to streamline the Streets, make the Streets better, more efficient, to serve the people of the Streets in a way that worked for the many, not for the few. Leader was minding his own business at home, it was a quiet evening, so he was planning on staying in and taking drugs, thinking new ways of improving the Streets for the citizens of the Streets, before listening to some loud rock music and meditating on the omnipresent mid-life crisis that shows no signs of abating. But just as he crushed up the first pill and mixed it with cocaine to ram into his already battered nostril, the door went. Leader was irritated, but quickly hoofed the concoction, more than he would have liked, faster than he would have liked. He thought it was perhaps a delivery man, but it wasn't. If only it was. Four men in suits were at the door, and their demeanour was akin to a notorious tyrant realising he was going to lose the war. They had a folder, photos of Leader in various scenarios. They had plans, recordings of speeches. They said they knew that Leader planned to revolutionise the Streets. They said that they would take action against Leader if Leader did change the Streets. Then, one of the four guys in suits interrupted the other one, laughing like Muttley, and said "Son, there's no way you're going to change the Streets. We won't be held accountable for what happens to you if you keep trying." Leader knew what the one of four men in suits was insinuating: he was strongly hinting that an act of excessive violence would be visited upon Leader if Leader kept in trying to change the Streets for the better. One quarter of the four men in suits was strongly hinting that he wouldn't be held accountable for any serious violence being meted out to Leader. The remaining 75% of the four men in suits then nodded in agreement. Leader, understandably, had gotten bored of this conversation by now and wanted to get back to his evening in. Before the four men in suits left, however, Leader made it clear that he wasn't scared. Leader shouted "I'm not scared - I'm not scared of jail, Hell I'm not scared of flour men regardless of their attire." And we all know what happened next... Some shitbird Earner used mindgame mumb0 jumbo to get Leader to accept a duel, a duel which he lost. So, we must ask Grin-24 - where are the three, or possibly four, men in suits that you work for? And what's your problem with the Streets being led properly? |
