A new Venture- the set -up Started by: FlexxMitchell on Jan 03, '25 21:21

The night was cold and the wind blew with authority, the streets were cluttered with movement. You had hustlers, shysters, movers and sleepers, you never knew who you would run into in the mix. The mark was a warehouse on the southside of the city next to the water. There was close access to the highway so that made it convenient. Water access as well but that would mean a boat and a place to dock once the escape happens. The warehouse had two levels. The upstairs was set up for the manufacturing of muffins mixed with some thc, the downstairs ran the muffin line but clean. In the yard there was a guard shack as well as pinch points where a sniper would set up in the event that chaos was about to happen. The property was fenced in and well secured. As well on the top level was an area where office spaces were located, and a secured room that held valuables and more goodies. Flexx was planning to take the spot and he was well prepared to do it. He had a few thugs to help out and get it done, but was hoping some of his fellow mobsters would fill in the gaps. Areas of entry were slim but could be silent if done right. Taking out the ops on the low would be great but far fetched for it to happen through this whole process, so being ready for a gunfight was a mandatory thing. Entry one was located in the back, with some of the heaviest security ready and set, two guard towers hidden within trees along the back of the establishment, with guards at the gate and cluttering the way through. This location would need at least two good shooters and a locksmith, just in case. Entry 2 was a side entrance that led to the middle of the compound, difficult yet straight forward, going in loud. With the third entrance being a bit more sneaky, then turning loud possibly, The plan here is to go in disguised as a new contact for some product, with the right people in place this could be very successful.

FlexxMitchell had his scope and just needed the final touches to stamp the plan for the go. He had a few of his homies in the office to talk strategy and wait for whoever else might show up to assist. The porter that worked the building walked into the room with a bottle and glasses for the gentlemen in attendance. Flexx pulls out a phat sack of some good herbal and passes it around to whoever wants to indulge and get their head right. Flexx pours himself a shot of cognac and takes a sip,

“Ok, so i am gonna need everyone ready, no blind spots. Unless we get a few more folks, it will be tough but doable, the mark has no idea about what is going to happen here and we want to keep it that way. Fade you're gonna be holding at the front in case the back entrance doesn’t pan out. The side entrance, Slip just listen for the word your clean up if everything goes sideways. I will be at the back with juice so if it goes bad we only have a moment or two for Fade to make his move and breach before we actually go completely live, “

Flexx hears a tap on the door, he pauses and gets up to answer it.

Walter turned up the thick collar of his pea cat as he strode up the dark street, slowing the wind biting at his neck as a small compliment of his entourage tailed behind him. His ear around the nation had caught wind of something big going down, and he saw nothing but opportunity with this venture. Before he knew it, he had a boat loaded up, one he seldom has reason to use, and was on his way to harbor he knew was near the meeting location.

Having greased the palms of the harbor master, handsomely he might add, he found himself on the dark street just outside the office. He weary eyes scanned the surrounding building for prying eyes before closing the distance to the door to knock.

It was a few short moments before the door cracked open, a familiar face peeking through as light spilled out through the slight opening. "FlexxMitchell, I presume?" Walter started before nodding his head back at his small entourage of ten grouping behind him.

"Word on the street is you got something going down. I want a piece of that action." Walter quietly spoke through the door as the man on the other side looking him and his group over.

Flexx walks in and greets the gentleman that had just arrived. With the extra help would make this that much easier. He invites everyone to take a seat and make themselves comfortable while we hash out these details. Flexx took a seat behind his desk and shuffled some paperwork in front of him then threw it in a drawer.

“Ok, First off welcome to the addition to this operation and much respect for stepping up. So we have 3 ways to breach. The first is the preferred but if that doesn’t make it move we will go to plan two then three so on and so on.”

Flexx takes a drag of his blunt before he continues.

“The easy way would be the front entrance disguise working. Now this would include 3

gentlemen working for the gas company coming to check on a possible gas leak. The objective is to get the upper hand, and eventually take over the establishment. The scout was placed to watch the place over for a good amount of time and he concludes”

Flexx looks closer at the paper to read the numbers.

“From the middle to the back we have about 15 guards. And from middle to front about the same count. So we looking at a 30 count, catch em off guard, easy money. So either the back or the front, I can run my boys through either side, we just need to figure out what we gonna do. “

He looks up at Walter, after taking a sip and a pull from his cigar.

“So what do you think?”

Walter sat at the table, listening as he puffed on a freshly lit cigar. He nodded his head as he pieced together the plan coupled with the warehouse layout in his mind.

"I agree, it would be best if we could make this happen quietly." He leaned back in the chair, pondering. "Hmm, 30 guards you say. What's the rear entry of this place look like?" He asked leaning forward once again.

"If we can swing it, we should clean house there too, preferrable at the same time. I've got a couple solid hitters with me that we could set to that task, should the disguise plan go south and we have to go loud." Walter took a long pull of his cigar before a steady trail of thick smoke rose out of his mouth before looking back to FlexxMitchell.

FlexxMitchell closed the book on the plan and was ready.

“That's  a wrap, we should be good to go, we meet at the rendezvous point at 1900 sharp. If there is anything else please put it out now, because when we go, we are going, no hiccups, no bumps in the road, full speed ahead.”

Flexx says as he takes another drag of his blunt, looking over the last few details of his plan, knowing it would be a success with the least amount of casualties on our side, plus we have the hitters. As time passed and the mobsters started to mingle in the meantime after the meet There was a loud yelp from outside, Everyone looked in surprise, Being that the job was a few blocks away, who would have known they would move first. Flexx hops up and looks at the rest of the crew.

“Damn!! They got the jump, but that ain’t gonna stop us, lets move”

Flexx hops up and presses a button under his desk. On the wall was a sculpture of an old school mobster,  which contained a secret passage outside the building. This place was temporary. The spot about to be taken was the goal. The squad all moved through the secret passage comely with no worry. Confidence was their ally. The secret passage led to the ally on the back side of the building. With only a few blocks to go. Flexx fans the group out to their perspective entry points. En route, the sucka only sent a few of his boys over so that would be a quick cleanup before we proceed.

Walters head snapped up as he had just put his own cigar out. His eyes darted over to FlexxMitchell as he shouted the meeting spot was now compromised. A click next caught his attention as an escape tunnel opened up. With a quick silent nod, Walter's men darted for the tunnel, freeing their weapons from their concealed holsters. Walter, having made sure everyone made it out of the room, followed the last man, popping out in the back alley with the rest of the group.

"Well, no time like the present to kick this off. Safe to say surprise is off the table."  Walter chuckled as he cocked his .45

"I'll clean up the back of the warehouse with a couple of my guys, the rest I'll send with you. Hit 'em from both sides and clean house." Walter nodded to three of his men who began to peel off to make for the back of the warehouse.

"Give 'em Hell Flexx." Walter stated, a wild grin spreading across his face as he moved to follow his guys.

Walter and his three men knelt in the dense brush, keeping a low profile as one worked free a rifle and set up to scope out the towers. Walter and the other two men scanned their surroundings for any movement as the first of two shots went off to his left. The noise was enough to grab the attention of the guards standing at the gate, causing a small group to break off and purge the surround area of assailants.

"Focus on taking down that second tower, we'll take care of these guys." Walter whispered to his sharpshooter as he and the other two crept forward to cut off the advancement of the ground patrol.

Flexx with his group of thugs made their way to the backside of the building. There were about 3 to 4 thugs coming their way to wipe them out. One less on the competition is what they were thinking, but Flexx and the crew he was rolling with had other things in mind. Barely moving, like he was doing the two step Flexx moved with grace as he stepped and side stepped shots. Ducking for cover in just the right moments  and popping back out to take a few down. This crew seems to not be very experienced in doing what they needed, and Flexx was all about taking advantage of a situation in his favor. They hustled to the back entrance after clearing the way, it was only a matter of time before the job was complete. At this time Flexx was in a nice casual stride as he made his way up the back stairs to the door. Right behind him was Fade, one of his closest thugs, he turned and popped a dude peeking out of one of the towers. Hearing the ruckus from the other side of the building Flexx assumed Walter was having just as much fun. Flexx opens the back door and takes out the last few he could see right away as he walked in. He waved to a few of his thugs to clear the bottom and watch out for our other crew folks.

“Call out to the other side of our crew im gonna make a move upstairs with fade, to take the office”

Flexx says as he daps his homie up knowing this was the final leg and they did have the upper hand, just finishing out is all that was needed, Flexx and Fade moved upstairs checking every room and every possible corner or hiding place. With that complete Flexx reloads for this last possible interaction. It can go a few ways here, an all out shoot out, and maybe he has a few hitters that stayed back with him, or he just bites the bullet himself knowing it's over.  Then finally if he begs for his life wanting to live. Whatever the case he had to go.

I have many questions;

What is the purpose of this venture?

Will a man named FrankCastiglia be involved?

If not, why not?

Have you considered a writing competition element?
