Good work Dictator Stamina, you have finally got out from hiding under your bed to do something. Goob job. Some would say you have played a good political game getting to the top. Others will say you have been a coward getting there. Anyway, it is time for you to step up, firstly, drop the God Father Council. We all know that you, as a dictator, tell everyone else what is happening. You decided to weaken other cities with the DT experiment, knowing that it would strengthen NO with another family, yet weaken the like of Chicago and NY by forcing them to auth someone when they were still building. Good job on the politics.

You also played a big part in the Chicago/DT shit that went down. Chicago's auth, RickJames, was under attack. Chicago wanted to protect THEIR auth. You told them that they could not as it was to 'play out like Vegas' despite this not being in the 'rules' you set down. Basically, YOU sentenced Chicago's auth to his death. I 100% guarantee you would of gone to war if it was your auth (who is it? NO have a reputation for being mute) who had been attacked. But I digress...

Chicago then requested a ceasefire in DT until a GFC meeting was held ASAP to discuss these 'rules' and to try and mediate a resolution. The requests went out. But then you went missing, maybe back under your bed? and allowed RickJames to be taken down. Great job!

So what you need to do is return to the streets, although with only 8 original speeches and 28 comments, you probably will not (leading by example? The leader is a mute, so the city is), admit your dictatorship, and disband the GFC, with you authing everyone and making all the decisions. Then this world can slowly die. Because we all know you are useless and a coward. Your ideas are useless - again the DT experiments being stupid, as well as forcing Animal to move city when he did not want to - and you really are a poor mans Roman. You want all the dictatorship ego boasting kudos without actually bothering to work to make this world a better place. On thing whilst I remember;

What do you mean forced people to auth? Are you fucking insane. Who do you think must actually send people out to form other families? The leaders obviously. The idea that all cities send an auth out is to make things equal, so no city is having advantage over others. Your little speech about weakening cities is pathetic, this is just the course of life, those who have families must give opportunities to their own members to pack and restart their lives elsewhere.

I was there when GF Stamina was asked by a RHM of Chicago if others cities could interfeer with Detroit. The answer was pretty clear, it WOULD be good if they were left to pick their own battles, because they were sending them out not as extension of their families. GF Stamina explained that however would be choice of every city to make, but that if a city simple decided to go in to clean up for their own auth, others cities could and possible would want to go defend theirs too. Like I said this was discussed with a Chicago RHM prior to those people even setting up homes in Detroit, and said RHM has agreed with that same view.

The day Rickjames was attacked, Chicago only contacted GF Stamina because they wanted to go wipe out the city for RickJames without getting any retaliation from other cities. No one stopped Chicago from doing anything, if they wanted to go defend their so precious auth, they could've but it was known that other cities didn't agree with it. They just wanted a free ride at other peoples cost.

Stamina didn' went missing, that unathorized cease fire made by Chicago on the name of all other leaders in the council was done after they have talked to Stamina. You say dictatorship? Look at those mails sent by Chicago, look at those orders sent to other leaders, who exactly was trying to dictate things here? Stop being blind. The only city that was acting like a dictator here was Chicago, who completelly ignored the reasons Detroit had to take out RickJames, simple because they had a closer relantion to the man.

Stamina though, he took the time to investigate what was going on from all sides of that story, seing that it was clear that the leaders of Detroit had a reason for such take down, that it wasn't a mindless take down for no reason as Chicago was claiming it to be.

I beleive you got the wrong perception about it all, it was Chicago who was trying to dictate things and put pressure on smaller families, which is why today it wasn't only New Orleans who participated here, but also New York, Philly and families from Detroit and Las Vegas.

In this life of ours, you have to know how big your foot really is before taking your steps and chicago was taking much bigger steps then they could've handled.

Dinostache, where you say Chicago wanted to wipe out a City, surely even an uneducated individual like yourself can understand that if a city decides to attack someone authed by another city, then the other city has a RIGHT to attack back. Chicago let Stamina know out of decency, and took a step back at his request, but also requested a ceasefire. The only reason Stamina did not agree to Chicago getting involved is it would of meant he would have to get his gun out to protect his auth. And as we have seen, Dictator Stamina is a coward, and would rather let others kill each other 'seeing how it plays out' to strengthen his position.

Why else would we still have this BS Vegas experiment? Stamina knows then only people that are there are his potential enemies who he would not sanction auth, and knows they will spend half the time killing themsleves then attacking him. Why do your own dirty work when you can lie under your bed crying and pooing yourself whilst others try and come to a resolution?

Heh, perhaps I'm dreaming, but I beleive we all saw Stamina doing his job tonight and doing it well.

Let's see, he stood up for something he beleived in and fought for it, that's not my definition of coward. But hey, it must be just me, you are not bitter and spilling non sense around either. My bad! :p

It amuses me to see Thirdsun's kin talk about not being a dick from the grave. I guess it's ok to be a dick even in somebody's funeral. But all is good and allowed just until somebody died and the son can then preach to the rest of the world...

And Vday... When you auth people in other cities you send them on their own. You may have friendships and good relations but if a city leader like Stamina or Clarity is going to claim ownership or protection to certain auths, then why send them to another city at all? Just keep them in your own and use the numbers to your advantage.

A DT CL approached another DT CL and then the rest of DT decided to remove a threat within DT. What business did Chi have sticking their noses in all that???

I'm not sure, VDay, where you got the idea that a city has the right to interfere in what was clearly another city's business that posed no outside threat just because of who gave who the nod to go out on their own but it's the wrong. Furthermore I don't really comprehend how you can justify the fact that Chicago used the weight of all the cities to try and do it after only talking to the head of one other city.

That alone would be enough but if we want to put all the facts out there then it should be mentioned that RickJames first came to New York for help and offered a substantial credit reward for that help. To a man it was decided that, while the offer was very generous and we all liked RickJames and did not wish to see harm done to him, this was an internal Detroit matter and New York had no business interfering. RickJames then went to Chicago and I can only assume made the same substantial credit offer. So the idea that Chicago was even trying to do something as "noble" as defend an auth is a stretch at best. I fully believe that Chicago by sending out those mails not only rented out their city to RickJames but tried to rent out our city as well.

As I stated earlier this is just one reason why the decision for last night's actions were made. Even if you don't agree with this one, you can take your pick of others.

It’s a real shame to see a city go out like this, but so calls our line of work anything is possible. Rest in peace to all the fallen, now onward to bigger and better things for our fine cities I would only hope.

Great speech Stamina and it most defiantly appreciated, you did what you could to try and keep Chicago alive it seems, the rest was all on them. You did what you had to do, and did what was right in not only my mind but many others im sure.

A little over two weeks ago, my dearly departed Granny EveValon told me of an argument she had with the leaders of Chicago.  An accident had occured, which was partially my granny's fault.  A man from Las Vegas was left dead.  Since she was a leader of the city of Chicago, and since she shared a part of the blame for the incident in question, having notified one of the family hitters about an upsponsored gangster running the streets, she spoke to the Las Vegas leadership, to apologize and offer compensation for the unfortunate tragedy. 

After making arrangements to compensate for the crime, she was approached by both Monet and Raptor, informing her that they did not appreciate her making an offer of compensation over the hit, even when she offered to foot the bill, she was told that they may not have made any offer at all.  Raptor told her that as members of Chicago, and one of the strongest cities at the time, we had a right to take as much as we could, and give as little as we could get away with. 

That attitude, lead to what happened last night. 

VDAY, you call Stamina a coward, but... what are you talking about really? 

Just a couple weeks ago, Stamina risked the lives of members of his city to help support and protect the lives of his friends in Chicago.  He lost a Don for this decision.  Had he not stepped in and shot EveValon, his city would have suffered not a single loss from her gun, but he stepped in anyhow.  How was he repaid for the loss of his Don? With a bill of 20 credits.  How is that an acceptable way to treat an ally who literally saved your city countless lives fighting a heavily protected Crew Leader with a strong gun?  Did Chicago make any attempt to compensate for the loss of New Orleans' member? Did Monet even give credit, or publicly offer thanks to Stamina and Nee Orleans for their save? 

I strongly suggest that you consider the answers to these questions, before you point the blame for Chicago's deaths anywhere but on the leadership of the city of Chicago. 

Cory Chase was lingering arounf the back of the crowd as he listened to Stamina. He couldn't stop himself from smiling at the the man.Cory lowered his head so that other people wouldn't think he was trying to mock someone. He looked up at Stamina and waitied for him to finish talking. He watched around the room as everyone threw in something here and there. He watched them all and didn't speak a word. It wasn't his place to talk on such things as this. All Cory knew was that he respected Stamina and he respected New Orleans. Clearly some people did not, but in the end you will not please everyone. That is just the simple fact of the matter. Cory smiled toward everyone and kept his thought to himself. He personally believed this was a good move from the higher up in New Orleans. Cory remembers the stories that his father use to tell him about his grandfather. Cory's grandfather has been in this situation before and was looked at the bad guy for simply 'attacking first'.

Cory laughed to himself as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up. He has just grown more respect for Stamia and Cory had just landed in this new country. At the end of the day it is always about your family and how to protect them best. Cory looked at this as the approach to what happened. Saved a lot of people lives and that is what it was about.

Immortal listens to those around her and to her godfather. It had been a very long night, and there was little rest to be had by most of those she knew.

Excuse me.. Let me first say rest in peace to all those who died. Death is never an easy thing to take, nor understand. With that said also I have witnessed many people that have taken it upon themselves to be very bitter at the loss of their mother or father. I understand that, and to be quiet frank everyone understands that, but to come out and express yourself is onething.. To make a mockery of your ancestors work is another. I have seen so many respectable people die last night, and to their kin that are now roaming our streets thank you. Your mother or father taught you well I know that you will succeed and do far greater things then you might even imagine.

To those that now come out here and tarnish their mothers or fathers name I have to shake my head. While we all know you are upset at being left to roam these streets without your parent to guide you I can't help but think perhaps they wanted better for you then this. Learn and listen from those around you, and rise up and do great things as well. Immortal sighs at a few, but continues.

War isn't ever a easy decision, and it's not something that New Orleans, New York or as we know Tanda took lightly. There were, even if you don't see them, relivant reasons for every action. Upon taking a physics course I remeber newtons law. Every reaction has an equal or opposite reaction. Sometimes they are good, other times they are bad, but that is the life in this thing of ours.

Immortal realizes she has been a bit long winded and tired from the events through the night and her work through the day she retires to her home to be among family and friends.

So much has been said since Godfather Stamina’s speech, both here and other street corners. The reasons Stamina stated have been dissected and analyzed so much already I won’t give my two cents about them. I doubt anything I say about the reasons will change anyone’s opinion, anyway.

The statement that was most refreshing to hear today was by Apples. Although her dear sweet grandmother was killed by Stamina she talked favorably about his recent actions instead of being bitter and hateful. I admire anyone who can put aside their personal feelings and look at person’s actions from a business point of view.

I’ve been around for a few wars and read about quite a lot through out the years of this thing of ours. One thing I’ll never understand is the bitterness and mud slinging after the take down of a family or a city. We all lost people during this conflict. We miss them deeply and mourn for them, but complaining about it doesn’t bring them back. Neither does insulting the people who fired the shots. Death is a part of the life we choose to lead in the mafia.  

Regardless of what the critics think Stamina did not march into New York and dictate to us and make us be a part of the take down of Chicago. We are still somewhat growing in New York, but we are capable of making our own decisions, which included the very difficult decision to get involved in this take down. Both Clarity and JackPepper were authed in Chicago. Many of us had friends and loved ones in Chicago. It was not easy for us to be a part of the take down, but like Miss Apples, we put our personal feelings aside and made a decision based on business.

I have to say it amuses me that there are those who are crying out against this action. If the shoe had been on the other foot they would be the ones defending their position against pretty much the very same accusations they throw around now.

My father died last night, much in the same way he lived. In his sleep, however on the brief occasions he was awake he never felt as if he was a part of something, yes most of that was on him but at the same time some of that was on the people he resided with. Apart from the usual messages left for him requests for information and notifications the was never once an inquiry into how he was, or why he was sleeping for so long. On the even rarer occasions he visited the coffee-shop there was rarely any acknowledgement that he was there.

I mourn my father, but I do not mourn Chicago. It's actions recently showed that they were not as big or powerful as they thought they were. Sadly I believe the crews there bought into the history of Chicago too much and believed they were more than they actually were. As a wise man says pride goes before a fall.

Whoa. Earners that know the inner workings of inter-city politics and the intricate details of his own city's dealings? What has the world come to? Clarity would barely allow me to groom her horse! Such injustice these days.

God rest the souls of the departed from all cities, and thank you for your explanation Stamina. "If one lives, and the others die then his truth becomes written and theirs is lost."

It's almost unfortunate that sons and daughters don't mourn their loss and move on with their lives without the remarks, bitter disputes and unnecessary clamouring for their truth to be heard. Once action has been taken, words disputing the action from relatives are redundant.

What has our world come to, it seems to have become way too common for civilians to enter our world running their mouths about how his or her father or mother was gunned down. This is the mafia, this is the life we choose. Sometimes deaths are deserved, sometimes not but at the end of the day, we are not here to hold hands. 

My father got gunned down in the fall of Chicago, but thats just the way things go around here. We live and die for the families we serve. Chicago had a great run, just how other cities have enjoyed great runs in the past, but as our world has proven time and time again, everything comes to an end. 

After listening to Stamina's speech, Skorpeon speaks

"Now, I wasn't around for this action, but my father was sure apart of the takedown orchestrated by New Orleans. I agree with Stamina to the death! He thought it was necessary to take down Chicago for said reasons, thats it. No questions asked from myself.

Good job Stam! You darn Tyrant."

Clarity had been extremely busy after the night's events. She had help Jordan out with setting up her own HQ and get that working, while handling everything else that was already on her plate. Having finally found the time to take a breather she had made her way to where Stamina told her he would hold his speech. 

Walking up to join them, she smiled and nodded to those around her.

"I am here to speak on behalf of New York City. I know that many here have already voiced their opinions, whether good or bad, but I am not here to make comments on them."

Pausing for a moment to clear her throat she then continued.

"Many know that my family and JackPepper's were originally from Chicago. Many of our friends were in Chicago and for the most part we had always stayed close in ties with them. They were a great city, that began to go downhill due to a few decisions that weren't exactly the best. I can't explain how hard it was for me to be attacking my own friends and what used to be family, but just because I was from Chicago didn't mean I would support any action they made."

"People may remember that a while ago, a silly thug was running his mouth saying that Philly was going to attack NY. I of course shrugged this off and didn't care because that was pure idiocy. People make up shit all the time to try and make people attack for dumb reasons and for the most part, people see through that and know to ignore it. Yet, when the same thing happened to Chicago you saw that not much later the Detroit leader was taken out. Now granted I am not saying they went solely off of that, but the reasons I did see weren't very good reasons to take out a leader. I had sent quite a few members over to Detriot because they wanted to follow my auth there. Did I have any issues with it? No."

"Moving onwards, not long after that I had recieved word that Detroit was attacking RickJames. I figured this would happen, not to Rick in particular, but I watched similar things happen in Vegas until finally someone came along and brought peace. I was sad to see Detroit not exactly working together like planned, but it wasn't unexpected. Suddenly, I was approached to step in. I was offered credits and tribute. Yet, I had quickly decided we would stay out. This was not our fight, Detroit is it's own city and they were to deal with the issues they came upon themselves. Seeing as it was inner turmoil we had no reason to step in."

"That next morning after having to deal with this, I had woke up to a mail from Techincal. It showed me that Chicago was telling him to ceasefire due to the GFC. I was a bit dumbfounded after I learned this. I had never been spoken to by anyone about a ceasefire in Detroit and I, myself, had even rejected getting involved. So I went straight to Stamina to see if he had learned of this news. When I reached him, I quickly found out that he hadn't ordered this either and that Chicago felt it was okay on their part to issue this."

"I love Chicago and the people that were in it, but these actions had left me in a position that I wasn't very proud to be sitting in at that moment. I knew that even though I found Chicago as a friend to me, that I couldn't just turn away and be blind to the actions, which is what led New Orleans and New York to join together and do what neither wanted, to take down Chicago. For many this may be stupid, false, and purely lies to them, but I had the proof in my hands, as Stamina showed everyone here."

Letting out a small sigh, Clarity finished what she had to say.

"With a sad heart, I am here now. We did what we had to do, we will be judged for it, and perhaps hated for it, but I will go on with a clear conscious. I will miss all my friends dearly and I hope their souls rest in peace. Last night was one of the hardest times I have yet to face and I know it won't be the last."

I commend all of you on your above speeches. It seems like it was a difficult decision and although I may or may not agree with the reasoning. I can say I agree with the way it was handled and can empathasize the feelings in doing what you did. You all remained strong and executed this war with minimal difficulties or casualties. Very well planned and I commend you for that. My father died in this way but I know he did not die in vain. He worked hard and loved his city and I hope that one it shall be repopulated with the same radiance the Windy City is known to emit. Better days will be seen along Lake Michigan.
