The policy on member whoring was changed at the behest of the Gods. It was not something the leaders that existed wanted to do. The gods had their reasons and the leaders with control at the time had no choice but to comply.

Mr. Z, how was it not sarcasm to suggest we join Durdens? When you pointed out that they were provided bodyguards does that mean you think I want some kind of hand out from a family? We were productive. We purchased our own bodyguards, was living high and had contributed to our family. We had officers doing our bidding. We are active people at work building on our talents. We prepared for nothing repeatedly.
