Clarity had been rushing around all night, she felt as though she was a chicken with it's head cut off. She had to quickly get all her cash together and find Jordan. The poor girl was dodging bullets left and right, with death just lurking around the corner hoping to take her.

Once having all the cash in the bag, she headed out to meet up with the girl. Jordan wasn't exactly sure why Clarity had wanted to meet during what was going on, but she had agreed to do so. 

Upon arriving at the meeting place in New York, Clarity gave a brief smile to her left hand woman. She was an extremely hard worker, had a great head on her shoulders, and had been with Clarity since almost day one. Jordan was unsure of why she was being looked at in this way, but it didn't last long as they had things to get to.

Dropping the bag on the table it held a few million inside. Jordan opened the bag and looked back to Clarity in shock.

"What in the world is this money for?"

This only made Clarity smile a bit bigger. She then looked around to make sure they were safe and began to tell her friend the news.

"Jordan, you have shown your loyalty countless times now. You have worked harder than many I have ever met. Even now, in the midst of things you are here with me seeing things through."

Jordan began to look worried as if this was a goodbye speech or something.

"As you know, we barely have any space left in our city. We need a great person to help continue this on. You, my dear, are the person I feel is best for this. I want you to take this money and to find yourself a lovely HQ here in New York. You have done far more than I could ever ask for and deserve to shine bright in our big city. This is only one step closer to bringing New York back to it's beauty."

Clarity could tell that Jordan was at a loss for words. 

"Well, what the hell are you waiting for!? You have a family to run now, girl! Get out there and show them what you got!"

Xiphos said as he came around the corner. He had been there to keep look out for his two favorite ladies. Would be horrible if the bullets found purchase during such a joyous occasion.

I'll say my congratulations now. As Clarity said you've been an amazingly hard worker, and the most loyal friend and colleague I've known. In my opinion, no one deserves this honor more than you do. You have every characteristic that a great leader should have. I know you will do me, Clarity, and our entire city proud. Best of luck, and you know where to find me if you ever need anything at all.

Sammich steps out of the crowd and reaches inside his jacket. He pulls out a dented old cigarette case with the name "Caius" inscribed on the front. He raises a cigarette to his lips and lights it as he looks over the people who have spoke before him.

At the risk of echoing the sentiments offered before me I have to congratulate Jordan on her opportunity. When it came time for New York to expand there really wasn't a decision to be made in my eyes. I felt that Jordan was the best choice all along. I know you will do great and you know you can count on me if you ever need anything.

Sammich tosses the half burnt cigarette to the ground and tips his hat to Jordan. He then reaches into his jacket and pulls out the cigarette case again and lights up another cigarette as he slowly makes his way back into the crowd.

In my short time here in this city I haven't had the time to get to know every person in this city well, however, shortly after arrival it was obvious to me who the boldest, and hardest working people in the city were...
