Firstly, thank you Don Clarity for making the effort to come here and share the information with us all. I see the news seems to have been welcomed by most people I can see in attendance. I understand that these changes aren't going to happen over night, but I think we're all in agreement that this should be a good route for us all to take in an effort to move things along a little here. I'll be looking forward to see exactly how this will affect business across the cities as we all progress.

You raise a good question there -doogle-, it may not be as complex as you first imagine though. Both New Orleans and New York will obtain a city each to auth into. Detroit and Philly will share one city between them and send their auths there together, agreeing on them beforehand. I believe a prior agreement will surely ease many of the issues you have raised concern with, before they are sent to work together.

As I already touched on, don't expect to wake up tomorrow and see each city hosting new families. I'm sure people will be building their own cities before looking to expand elsewhere. I can't speak for any other city, but I'm sure many people will think that we wouldn't want to spread ourselves too thinly.

Thank you Godfather Stamina for clearing things up for me. I am merely a curious mobster, like the rest here. In that case, I do hope to see cooperation between the future auths as they begin another chapter....when the time comes, anyway.

Also, does this mean the previous city rules are gone? What I mean by that is, are cities now allowed to expand prior to having 4 crews within 10 members of a full HQ? I would assume so, considering the recent authorizations...and in an effort to bring more life to This Thing of Ours in the vacant cities. Either way, I applaud the current city heads and look forward to whatever happens in the near/distant future.

Its good to hear you come out to the streets with this information, always good to know whats going on in the world and more importantly that our vacant cities will soon be back up in action. I think the most exciting part now is to wait and see who will be getting the fine honor of setting up in these cities.

Have been looking forward to seeing someone getting authed in some of these cities for sometime now, I think its safe to say despite the last few hiccups that we might just finally be going back in the right direction. Fingers crossed anyway!

Brilliant news! I eagerly await the day when I can fly into any of the great cities, and head straight for a blackjack table. Or set up plans for a big job, and be guaranteed to have a large group of local mobsters at my disposal, to help me see the job through!

This news is very much welcome indeed. Hopefully, the new cities will soon attain the level at which they once stood. I also wish all those aspiring mobsters luck, as this announcement presents many opportunities to them. I am looking forward to hear which cities are allocated how.
