Walking into the crowded bar a man set down his favored milk cart and coughed loudly to gain the patrons attention. Having next to no effect he stomped his feet shouting to be heard over the roar of the men and women drinking the night away. Reaching over to a nearby table he picked up a discarded glass and threw it onto the floor littering those at the bar in loose shards of broken glass. Well that worked he thought to himself as all eyes turned in his direction.

"The streets have fallen far in recent months," the unassuming man announced.

"Our cities are full of paranoia with purges that would make the soviets proud," he continued noticing the angry glances from those whose night he of revelry he was disturbing.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must quit this world, for it holds no hope for me and many of the citizens. The cities are being driven into the sea by the weakness of its leaders," reaching into his pocket he pulled out a .38 revolver, lining the barrel up with his temple he pressed the trigger.
