To those who lurk behind the veil of anonymity that have so generously donated to myself and my family in this time of mourning, my heart goes out to you. Thank you for the support as this will be the first steps on the long road of recovery ahead of us after such a heavy day.

I understand there are concerns regarding the well-being of my spine. I can assure you that my spine is intact and quite healthy at this time, but I do appreciate the concerns expressed from the shadows by those who I am sure also have healthy spines.

What happened today, while heart wrenching, was necessary. Benefit of the doubt had been given. Benefit of the doubt had been taken advantage of, as it so often is in this underbelly we all call home. This is a dynamic and ruthless life we lead and we will often be faced with hard choices. No matter how close you might be to some of those choices, when things stop adding up, action is called for before an infection can spread. That doesn’t make the choice any easier to make or the results any lighter to carry, however. These are weights myself and the other leaders carry with us day in and day out, but those of you who have seen fit to open your hearts and donate to our cause, helping us to grieve and carry on another day, you are the real heroes.

Rest easy as you wrap your blanket of anonymity  around you this evening knowing that this world will be just fine, if not better for your valued contributions, as we continue to move into the future.

If you ask me the only one with spinal issues is the anonymous one. Be a man or a woman and have the guts to come out of the shadows so we can have a conversation in the light of day for all to see, instead of the guise of anonymity.

Jesus Allie, of all the people to be talking about having a spine, it is a more than a little hypocritical that it is you, renowned spineless wonder chicken that you are.

No really the city that was too spineless to protect their own members and probably caused the last two rouges, is trying to give the rest of the community a lesson in having a backbone. 

I sincerely meant to stop by and pat Allie on the head and let her know she has nothing to worry about because nobody was going to ask her anything. Being spineless runs through her lineage. Being propped up does not earn respect.
